Photo Journal

Today our class went to Mrs.Burke's friends studio. It was sooooo cool! 

Today our class went to 2 museums. The First one was the Minnesota Institute of Art (MIA). The Second museum was the Sculpture Garden. Our group, walked around and took pictures.

Today Mrs.Burke taught us Perspective. She let us go around the school and take pictures with perspective. Later, she had us take magazines and had us cut out pictures with perspective or rule of thirds.

Today we did Macro. Macro is when you take a picture really close up and nobody else knows what it is. Then, they have to guess what it is.

Today our class went to Como Zoo &amp; Conservatory. I took so many pictures!

Today we did a scavenger hunt. Instead of just finding it, we had to take a picture or do a certain thing. For example, we had to take a picture of one of us posing as a statue.

Today I learned about Line ( Horizontal, Vertical,Converging, and diagonal.)  Ms.Burke also gave us an assignment to find the letters in our name in plain sight, for example, I found something in the shape of an S on the playground.  

Today we had a new lesson. I learned about texture and patterns. Mrs.Burke's friend, Skye Devoe, came and showed us all the different kinds of photo's and methods she took. This is one of them!

Today we taped our name photo's to black pieces of paper and strung them together
