Once there was a 4th grade class in the 5th Primary School of Evosmos.
Students were in their classroom and they were having an English lesson with Ms. Evgenia.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door.
Ms. Evgenia said “I wonder who that can be.”
It can’t be the school director because he is having a meeting.
And it can’t be Mr. Sakis because we don’t have PE today.
And it can’t be Mrs. Areti, who prepares our lunch boxes, because it’s still morning.
We’d better open the door and see.

A girl opened the door and there was a tall, brown and furry kangaroo.

“Excuse me, but I want to learn English and Greek. I haven’t been at a school before. Do you
think you could show me around?”

“Of course! Come in”, said the kids and they welcomed the kangaroo to the classroom. The
kangaroo sat on a desk and listened to the students presenting themselves and their crafts.
“Would you like to take a tour around our school?”, a boy said and the kangaroo jumped down the stairs.

"Would you like some water, lettuce or maybe an icy popsicle from our school canteen?", a boy added.
"Thank you! I'm so hungry and thirsty after my long journey."

"But, what's that door behind you?", the kangaroo asked.
"That's our gym. Let's go inside. Grab a ball.Let's play basketball", a boy suggested.
The kangaroo was great at basketball since he jumped really high.

"We are all great football fans, as well. Would you like to play?", a boy proposed.
"Great idea! I can be the goalkeeper!", the kangaroo answered. And he truly was awesome at catching the ball.

Then the kangaroo said "Thank for your nice tour!I'd better go now" and he went.

Children were really happy because they met a kangaroo and played with him. They hope he will visit them again.
