Ground cinnamon for garnish

Candy feeds his dog milk and in the passage we are told that Candy’s dog does not have any teeth. This dish does not require teeth to be eaten.

"That dog of Candy’s is so damn old he can’t hardly walk. Stinks like hell, too. Ever’ time he comes into the bunkhouse I can smell him for two, three days. Why’n’t you get Candy to shoot his old dog and give him one of the pups to raise? I can smell that dog a mile away. Got no teeth, damn near blind, can’t eat. 3 tablespoons smoked paprika, 2 tablespoons brown sugar packed, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon oregano, 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 12 ounces dark beer, 2 teaspoons liquid smoke, 5.5 lbs bone-in pork roast (pork shoulder or Boston Butt), Salt + pepper to taste
Guava BBQ Sauce (or your favorite bbq sauce)
BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Slaw
