The Little Oxford City Bus Visits Barton Park

Next, The Little City Bus went to ask Mrs Rayner if she had seen their adult. The only problem was, she wasn't there! She must have been outside with the children looking at the mess that had been left in the playground.

The poor Little Oxford City bus didn't know what to do so they tried to call their adult on the telephone. The only problem was they didn't know the number to call.

Suddenly, the Little Oxford bus glided into Mrs Morgan's special stamper box. It wanted Mrs Morgan to give it a star stamp for being such an excellent driver.

Oh no! The Little Oxford City bus sneakily drove under Acorn's blue bug rug.

After a lot of investigation, the children in Saplings class have finally worked out what happened! This is the story of how the Little Oxford City bus got lost and then was found.

Feeling a little bit hungry, the Little City bus went in search of a snack. First they tried looking in the fridge but they didn't find what they were looking for.

Next, they tried looking in the kitchen but they didn't find anything to eat there either!

Tyre tracks, bus tickets, bus passes, timetables and litter were found on the concrete and the grass. What a mess!

On Wednesday 14th July, something strange happened in the Barton Park playground.

The children at Barton Park decided to investigate to see if they could find out what had happened. They thought it could have been a Naughty Coach coming to pick them up a day early for their school trip.

Next they went on the monkey bars! They really challenged themselves here. They drove across the bars without any help and with a growth mindset!

After about half an hour of playing, the Little Oxford City bus was really thirsty, so they decided to find some water to drink.

Could Mrs McCraw help the Little Oxford City Bus?

Unfortunately, Mrs McCraw wasn't in her office because she was also out on the playground with the children investigating the mess that had been left on the school premises. 

Then, they went into the Acorn's playground and had fun in the tunnel. They did the loop-the-loop and went right and left. 

They decided to go outside into the sunshine to distract themselves from feeling hungry and from missing their grown up.

Next, the Little Oxford bus went looking for their grown up in the Red book band box.

After that, they made their way over to the chalk houses. They wanted to draw themselves a chalk grown up because they were lonely.

They loved visiting the library because reading is fun but they couldn't find their adult there.
