Coruscant wasnt a quiet place for anyone, the bickering, smuggling and loud underworld was one of the nastiest places in the galaxy. While the tops of sky scrapers were filled with the most posh and organized of all.

Mullren Baker was among these people, he never went to the street level. He sat in the imperial training academy. His red armor gleaming with pride. This was a rare moment for him, and especially his face as it was covered with sunlight, an occurrence that well, rarely occurred. The next day he would have to return to work. He looking down at the pitiful men of the streets. Galvin looked behind him not saying a word, He never did, None of them ever did. Speech was nothing but a tool to the two of them. Then he heard it, it had come to his attention over the past few seconds that there was a riot. A small one, the imperial had tried to settle the man but he kept on ranting on and shuffling through the thick crowds and blistering the public property. The emperors property. He grabbed his helmet, and his eyes were greeted with the red words of his visor, the crosshair that aligned in the center. He stood up gripping his force pike, the long silver stick was almost in comprehensive in the light. Galvin knew what was happening, but decided only one of they’re cloaks were to be soiled.

BAM! From the streets, a fire arm ignited, the sound of the heavy helmet hitting the ground rung in Mullren’s ear. He swiped the window infront of him splashing glass all over, the outside grunted to him with the howling wind. He jumped, 205 floors in the air. The sound of small howls from the indentations of each floor filled his ears. 50 His visor flashed red signaling a warning. He plunged his blade into the side of the building slowing him down in an instant. He jumped over the last few floors. Landing. A white armored soldier dropped next to him, the hole in his chest smoking black. Mullren looked to his left, instinct did the rest for him, a bolt of red flew in his direction he got behind a rock brining up his guard. The bolt shattered the rock beside him into fragments.
Explosive arms he through, This was more than just a street riot, this was a rebel attack. He Looked back up, over the broken speeder in front of him, his visor told him there was someone hiding behind the rock to his 11, He threw the force pike with deadly accuracy, he heard a faint grunt, a another bolt flew towards him, he unsheathed his vibro-blade wildly deflecting the attack, he rushed to a closer piece of rubble, there was two people emerging from behind him, But they weren’t wearing street wear, they were wearing full Rebel gear, low-end armor to be sure, but armor nevertheless. He jumped up startling the rebels, They backed up and opened an array of wild bolts. He spun around keeping low, Once he got close enough he pushed his cloak back revealing a heavy pistol, He pulled his trigger down shooting through the rubble hitting a rebel, He then recovered to his cover grabbing the force pike still impaled in the previous rebel. 1..2..3. He leaped across jumping in a side roll one hand slicing the fire arm in the rebels hands beside him, he landed and spun around keeping low foot work while cutting down the next. A gun ship landed out came 10 imperial soldiers shimmering in they’re usual white armor, one wore a red shoulder pad, the soldiers took their positions sorrunding any possible areas where a threat could be hiding. “Shouldn’t—t-t you be in the government building?” The soldier asked with a stutter

Mullren didn’t answer, he didn’t feel the need to.

“You’re late, you need to do better” He said coldly.

“Of-course sir! Scout the perimeter, and scramble the police!” He said hastily.

Mullren signaled on his console, after a few seconds, a ship hovered over him, it was a small capsule sandwiched between two panels, with red accents along the panels signaling his rank and job.

Most of the empires Tie Fighters were designed for manufacturing efficiency, but not these, the ships piloted by the imperial Red guards had seen multiple upgrades such as shields and more advanced rockets. As well as an auto-pilot which he had just used. He climbed into the capsule looking back to the rubble that was caused by just 6 or 7 rebels. The empire was doomed if this was a prime example of they’re encounters with the rebellion. At least that’s what Mullren thought.

The next day,
Mullren flew towards the Emperors palace, shocked to find a squad of imperials blocking his path from the Hanger to the palace.
“We’ve been instructed not to let you pass.” The Sergant said holding up his hand.
Mullren ignored them, trying to get pass, He broke right through them and began walking towards the hallway. Behind him, he heard the sound of an imperial holding up and E-11 sub rifle.
He turned around raising his force pike.
‘What is the meaning of this?!” He asked Coldly. The sergeant listened to his comm. Understood He said.
“Your under arrest” the trooper said,
There must have been a mis-understanding, but Mullren wasn’t going to let anyone, waste his time.

“I’m going to go to the throne room as I have been instructed, and I’m authorized to use lethal force against you if needed”
Invisible to Mullrens eye, a drop of sweat trickled down the Sergants face,

The sound of a trigger tightening ceased to be vacant in Mullren’s ear.
He turned around grabbing his blade and pike leaping towards the squad in a spinning motion, cutting three of them down immediately, He side-stepped dodging a laser that zoomed past him, He threw his force pike dropping another one, then turned around confusing his second to last opponent with the swirl of his red robe, then dropped down on a knee spamming the trigger of his fire arm. A bolt hit him in the back stunning him for a second. But he quickly regained his stance. Slowly standing up to turn around and face the lone storm trooper. The threw a piece of rubble knocking the soldiers helmet off, the imperial pulled the trigger again. It was deflected, perfectly. Period. The troopers eyes widened he dropped his fire arm turning to run to the palace interior. But he wasn’t fast enough as Mullrens force pike got to him first. Mullren walked slowly into the palace. It’s inside dark with minimal light getting into the throne room. It was empty. As it was most of the time. He approached his usual position. But Galvin stopped him in his tracts.
“Your under arrest” Galvin said
“For what?” Mullren said beginning to realize this was more than a scheme.
“I don’t question orders.” Galvin said coldly. He raised his force pike.
Red guards, were no stranger to fighting each other, as it was the final training ritual to defeat ones closet friend to prove themselves to the emperor, even If the opponent died.

Then something rung on the inter-comm. The scrambled voice of a pilot calling for help. “They’re everywhere!” He said.

“That’s Lord Vaders shuttle” Mullren recalled. “Rebels”
“What’ve you done?”
“I am not aware of my wrong doing”
Galvin stopped the conversation with a lunge, it was easily and effortlessly parried then followed up by a vertical heavy strike. Galvin side stepped and tried for a flank cut, Mullrens pike was to far to evade the attack, so he used his right hand and brought his vibro-blade into an upside down quartz block, directly intersecting with the flank cut from Galvin. And He started with a repost. But it was was short lived as Galvin dodged and ran. He wasn’t cowering of course, he was a royal red guard. He was trying to get the Height advantage as he knew his skill set with a long range weapon was superior to Mullren’s. From they’re training encounters. Mullren ran after him calling for his Tie Interceptor The familiar hum of the ship crept its way into the two guard’ ears. Mullren jumped of the high steps landing on his ship, he jumped into the cockpit. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Lord Vaders Shuttle come into view. It took every ounce of defiance he had in him not to follow his apperant orders and turn himself in. But he needed confirmation, He wasn’t going to risk his life for no reason. This was without a doubt rare attitude from a royal red guard. Perhaps the Empire had failed at making him the perfect guard they wanted him to be. Perhaps they didn’t. But that was besides the point. He needed to get to the bottom of this and find out why he was being hunted by the people he had served with loyalty without question for years. He looked behind him. An imperial destroyer was behind him, the Agonizer. Of course the empire wouldn’t let someone with knowledge like him into open space. And even more so with his current situation. He didn’t know what to do, Mullren figured his best bet was to get into open space. He opened his hyperdrive contemplating the worth of the last decade of his life.
