Does New England have rich soil? In the southern Colonies there are plantations, bays, rich soil, and swamps. They also had humid temperatures.

Can you practice any religion in New England? I think not! The southern colonies were founded for religious tolerance. 

Georgia was used as a buffer zone to protect the Carolinas because they were the most important colonies at the time from the Spanish.

A buffer zone is a place that stops the Spanish from attacking the Carolinas.

Most people would have farms and sell crops to other colonist.

Can you make money by farming in the middle colonies? I don't think so.In the southern colonies you can make money by farming, shipping, lumbering, and fishing.<br/>
