2018 FIFA World Cup Final
Croatia was in the group with Iceland, Nigeria and Argentina and scored nine points. The most important game of the group was against the Argentina national team because it was that game that decided which team would go on. The next games were against Danemark and the host coutry, Russia. Both countries were beaten by Croatia in the penalties. In the semi-finals Croatia played against England, but the Croatian ˝golden generation˝ managed to win 2-1 after a 109th-minute goal by Mandžukić. Croatia eventually lost the final 4–2 to France, but many professional people said that France´s victory was unfair. ˝France won the title, but Croatia won the hearts of all people in the world.˝
