It was the day before Valentine's Day and Lovely Lucy, a brown haired brown eyed grade four student went to drop off the Valentine cards. To her surprise the Valentine box was missing. Lucy decided to put her detective skills to work. Lovely Lucy would keep her eyes open to see if she could find the Valentine box. Lucy wondered who could've taken the Valentine box?

Lovely Lucy decided to investigate the grade four classroom. She noticed Love Bug making something. First, Lucy approached Love Bug the blonde haired and blue eyed girl in her class. Lovely Lucy suspiciously walked up to Love Bug and asked," What are you making?" Love Bug quickly covered up the book she was making. Then Love Bug told Lovely Lucy that it was a Valentine book for Mrs. Groves. Lucy was sure that Love Bug didn't take the Valentine box since she was making a Valentine book for Mrs. Groves.

Suddenly, Lovely Lucy noticed that Cute Christina was searching for something by the storage stools. Next, Lovely Lucy approached Cute Christina. "Christina?" Lucy asked suspiciously. " Are you okay?" Then, Cute Christina explained that she didn't take the Valentine box. She was looking for the song she wrote a year ago that she left by the storage stools. A moment later Christina found the song she wrote. She quickly went back to her desk. Now Lucy knew that Christina didn't take the Valentine box because she was only looking for a song.

Soon, it was lunch. Lovely Lucy was starving. Being a detective was hard work. Eventually, it was Lucy's turn to order her lunch. She was excited to order her crispy burger and french fries. As Lucy was ordering her lunch she noticed Red Heart had the grade four Valentine box. Then, Red Heart greeted Lucy by asking what she was ordering for lunch? Instead, Lovely Lucy sadly asked, "What are you doing with the grade four Valentine box? I have been looking for it since morning."

Not a moment too soon, Red Heart exclaimed to Lucy that she was decorating the grade four Valentine box. First, Red Heart told Lucy that Mrs. Groves told him about the Valentine box yesterday while ordering lunch. Next, Red Heart told Lovely Lucy that he thought the Valentine box wasn't decorated enough, so he was decorating the Valentine box. Then Red Heart gave Lucy the Valentine box along with the lunch order telling her he was finished with decorating the box. Finally, Lovely Lucy had solved the mystery. She returned the box to her classroom and returned back to eat her lunch.
