AIM
To use a chemical reaction to model a volcanic eruption.

1.5L soda bottle
Warm water
Red food colouring
Dishwashing detergent
2 tablespoons baking soda
White vinegar
1.5L soda bottle

METHOD
Fill the bottle most of the way with warm water.
Add red food colouring.
Add 6 drops detergent.
Add 2 tablespoons baking soda.
Slowly pour vinegar into the bottle.
Watch the eruption!
