BANSHEE: a female spirit. CHANGLING: the legend about fairies giving birth to deformed babies who took human babies and leave their deformed baby in its place. LEPRECHAUN: a type of male fairy with a beard and wearing a green jacket and a hat.

The group of students of CAAD TEAM, the ones who collaborate with the 'Centre d'Acollida d'Animals Domèstics', have made DIY CAT TOYS for the cats that live there. Watch the tutorials and the wonderful toys they have made. The cats love them!

One of the mandatory books the ESO students have to read is ALL ABOUT IRELAND through which they get to learn lots of things about Ireland, its history and culture. Have a look at some of the litle assignments the 3rd of ESO students have done.

What would happen if women didn't deliver babies? What would society be like if the Family institution didn't exist? What are the dangers of reproductive technology? What if we didn't have feelings? What if members of society were classified in different castes and couldn't advance and improve their lives?

The&nbsp;Greyhound&nbsp;is a&nbsp;breed of dog &nbsp;which has been bred for racing. In Spain there are lots of abandoned and abused greyhounds and we would like to make people aware that this should not happen. We all should love animals and take care of our pets.

Students of CAAD PENEDÈS TEAM have written these haikus that describe different greyhounds.

IRREGULAR VERBS RAP by 3rd of ESO students

The students of 3rd of ESO in Baix a mar school are learning the irregular verbs.A as a native English speaker that didn’t have to study them, it pains me to say that some schools are teaching these very wrongly. Yet in Baix a mar, we are getting closer because we are doing a rap in groups. &nbsp;Personally, I learned them just by listening but that took ten years so maybe not the absolute best, but the simple fact of listening and saying them helps speed up the process. This might not be innovative but it is heterogeneous and that is a fact. &nbsp;If I’m absolutely honest I was not happy about having to do a rap because well, I’m not one to quite enjoy it but I do enjoy not having to memorise stuff so you can imagine that I was pretty on board with the project, which has been productive and pretty fun. I definitely recommend doing it. It's an experience that gives a very positive outcome. I hope you enjoy the following videos.

A NEW PROJECT: ATC Artist Trading Cards

Artist trading cards&nbsp;(ATCs) is a conceptual art project initiated by the Swiss artist&nbsp;<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M._V%C3%A4n%C3%A7i_Stirnemann">M. Vänçi Stirnemann</a>&nbsp;in 1997. He called it a&nbsp;Collaborative Cultural Performance. Artist trading cards are&nbsp;64&nbsp;mm ×&nbsp;89&nbsp;mm in size.

Any member of the educative community can participate in this artistic exchange which takes place every month.

In the middle of the second term, 3rd graders have started an international project through the eTwinning platform with a school in Brela, Croatia. We are working on stories from the past and legends from the cities of Vilanova i la Geltrú and Brela. in order to present schools and cities, these videos are what our students have made.

The English texts books that we are using in the present course are published by Burlington Books. They have offered us a series of short conferences about British culture. It is the students of 1st of ESO the ones who enjoyed the cultural classes.

Aquest curs hem començat nous projectes de servei comunitari, un dels quals el fem des de l'àrea d'alemany. Aquest projecte s'anomena 'Apadrinaments d'alemany' i consisteix en que un alumne de 3r de l'ESO apadrina lingüísticament un alumne de 1r de l'ESO. Aquests apadrinaments són trobades virtuals en el que l'alumne de 3r ajuda a consolidar els continguts que aprenen els alumnes de 1r. Vegeu que en pensen els protagonistes.

A primer d'ESO hem treballat el vocabulari de la família i el que necessitem per parlar del que ens agrada fer en el temps lliure. Escolteu a la Laura Caris .
