Edy visits Loutraki.

There, at the seaside road, Edy stops at a wonderful, round building. "What is it?", it wonders. It is the old Thermal Springs with their beautiful mosaics, completed in 1934.

With enthusiasm Edy finds a wooden castle inside the Loutraki park! Up the slide it climbs and "Ooooh!" down the slide it comes! "Again! Again!" Edy cries out!

And with a quick twist Edy turns towards the sea and the sky! As a great explorer it admires them and wonders: "How wide, how big, how deep...how beautiful they are!".

Edy visits Loutraki, exploring and discovering the natural and cultural heritage of our town.

Behind the church, a large park expands. "Hurray" says Edy! "Here it is peaceful and quiet and I could talk to the birds!"

Early next morning, Edy climbs up the hill. The view of Loutraki is so calm. Edy feels complete. After exploring and discovering, playing and learning, Edy is ready to say "Goodbye, dear Loutraki!",

"Αντίο, αγαπημένο Λουτράκι!"

Thankfully, Edy arrives on time! Lays the traditionally woven Kilimi on the pebbles and first looks at the blocks of flats, hotels and cafes at the beachfront. "Hmm, why they have to be so tall?" Edy thinks.

The sun has set. Edy is heading to the waterfalls of Loutraki.

"In the Summer, this must be a very refreshing spot", Edy thinks.

" I made it! I am up in the clouds!" Come wind! Take me to Taranto!

"Dear Loutraki! My beloved new friends, I had a wonderful time here! I loved every site, every place I 've been to!" . " Love and protect your town! After all, It is your precious heritage!" with love, Edy

Edy is listening to a religious story: When St. Andreas ran and found refuge at this site, spiders made a thick web before him. It was so thick, that the Roman soldiers could not find him!

Edy discovers that Virgin Mary's  icon is miraculous and that people make offerings to it. Every 8th of September, Loutraki celebrates Panagia and a big fair takes place.

Suddenly, there, at the back, appears a big cloud heading towards Italy! "If only I could jump and fly on it!"

Edy enjoys the Corinthian gulf. "Maybe some of my friends, the dolphins, may appear, as they sometimes do!"

"Goodmorning, Loutraki!"

Edy is happy to be in Loutraki! It is walking along the seaside Palm tree-road with the cafes and is heading for the sea!

Refreshed and joyful, explores the city centre.

Edy stops at the small traditional houses and at galleries..

Edy calculates.. "Walking is far too long and the children in Taranto are waiting!"

Next to the Springs Edy sees an old church. It is St. Andreas' Basilica. It dates back to 1345. It was built by the Byzantine emperor Ioannis Katakouzinos. St Andreas hid at this site when he was being chased by the Romans! Edy finds it fascinating!

It is waiting for the fishermen to come to their boats. It has a message for them: "Please, take care of my kind and respect all species, when you go fishing!"

"Oh! Come on Edy!", "Hurry up!", "We will miss the sunset at the beach!". "I am sure you are going to love it!"

Walking around the streets of Loutraki, Edy comes across "Panagia Giatrissa's temple" (the "Healing Mary"), the Patron church of Loutraki.
