Have you ever thought how multiplication ties in with building? Well if you said no there are actually many ways. Here i'll show you.

This board has 4 nails. Each nail needs to be hit 5 times to fully go in. How many times would you need to hit all of the nails?

If you said 20 you are correct.

Four times five equals twenty

Now there is a house with 3 window panels each panel has 6 windows. How many windows are in all.

Hint: you can use 6x3

If you said 18 you were correct

six times three equals eighteen

Now there are 5 buildings next to each other. Each building has 4 stories. How many stories in all?

If you said 20 you are correct

five times four equals twenty
