Wow! I went to Ellis Island. How you may ask? I'll tell you my story......
I am Grace and I live with three younger sisters and a mama. My youngest sister is Ellie, my second youngest sister is Emma, my other sister is Heather, and we call my mother mama.

It all started when there was war happening in Germany and we had to leave our country. We took a boat to Ellis Island, but we were on the third floor because we did not have much money.
We had food that tasted like expired beans and it tasted horrible. The ship was crowded with hundreds of people. Some sick all the time because of the massive waves. One time there was a wave so big that it knocked out someone.
It took so long, but we finally made it to America. The Statue of Liberty greeted us to Ellis Island.
