The Crimson Feather Time and Space

"Friends from now are the same as friends from before" By Angel Perez

I never felt like I was wasting time. It could be hours and the space between you and I would be closer. The time between you and me would be faster. The fragments of reality between us would be better. Time from the start is different from the time that is now. But what hasn't changed is the person that made the time run faster and faster everyday. The space between us was never silent or empty. The space between our worlds was always full of excitement and emotion and it was superior. The time that was cherished was meant to be but the space that was created was meant to be freed intolerably. The friends I know now and the friends I knew before never made time feel wasted and space hated.

I have an anger so deep within me I'm afraid I'll never be able to put out the flames. Hidden so deep within the darkest depths of me that the exterior remains like ice. A flame growing as more coal is added at times becoming so great even the ice is melted, it comes as a surprise, like Pompeii. And then for a time, the space near is oxygen, and the room is ablaze. Before I take a breath and suck it back in.

Every time I look away, I find myself lost. Lost in a thought, Locked in a place I know I’ll never escape. An eternal false reality of space. A dream I sleep while I stayed awake. An illness I tend to break. As I shed tears from staring too long, I blink. I blink away the sensation, I blink away the only thing that kept me sane. But even then, I knew I was starting to go insane. When I float in my own reality of space, I can’t move my unremovable face. And I tend to feel a strand of pain, That marks my face with gain. I ponder when I can feel good again, When I know I won’t reach my final extent Or when I spin in space in my own immense. Though, every time I go there My brain gets distracted by fear That I’ll never look past That I’ll never look back It keeps shading my shadow everywhere I look And it keeps erasing like the life it took Of me, from my grief that held my heart with purity And the only thing that kept me from feeling insecurity. It was gone, All of it left from me, And now I’m left to stare into space until it sets me free. Even when you can’t see, You know it’s there to shallow your grief And eat away your feelings with a type of belief. A nothingness void, Something you enjoyed, You now try to avoid. But even then you know you can still hear the voice Of the space that brung you to it And expects more of you every time you breathe with conflict.

SILENCE, silence is everything that you ever knew. SILENT, is something you always were. As the days carried on You sit in the mist watching it pass by Wondering if your existence is even significant. Lost in a wandering mind You realize it's just space and time No one can hear your muffled screams, as you drown to the bottom of the sea. Putting up a fight, you knew you were going to lose Defeated by your emotions and thoughts, letting them ruin your life. The days start to get longer As your hope starts to disappear You wonder if anything will change, will there be anyone to save you? Time is ticking, and the world is thriving without you. Thoughts of being a part of the world intrigues you, but the shadows are where you live. Time waits for no one, so why would it wait for you, little old you. The only thing that seems to have time for is your mind. Holding out your hand, knowing that no one will grab You still hope and wait, because you have nothing else to do In reality you just have time, as your mind drifts into space

Conclusion... The door to the room I was in opened and I'm fully prepared and ready to accept my fate. I close my eyes and turn to face the door. But, then I hear what seems to be gunshots? And then a thump of I presume a body. I open my eyes and see Professor Racker and Steven, they're both a little roughed up. and Professor had a piece of cloth tied around one of his eyes, holding what seems to be a blaster made out of garbage. The Professor smiles at me and tells me to follow them before more of those things come, I lower my gaze to the body at my feet and almost gag. It was a now mutilated green and blue alien. I shake my head, grab my bag, and run out the door following them to where the escape pod was. I was about to tell them it doesn’t work. The Professor jumps in and turns it on, my jaw drops, Steven pushes it shut and motions to get in. I happily get in and we get outta there. Heading back home, I can finally breathe freely. Goodbye, emptiness. Goodbye loneliness, and hello Future. 					The End

As the year ends, the holiday season begins, Even the cold air is filled with grins. The old night sky becomes young with glittering light, As the children countdown the days uptight. The spirit of Christmas travels around, Turning every frown upside down. Charisma and excitement fill the air, And impatience is the only bare.

Through bustling streets, the shoppers weave, They pick the best gifts as they believe. Through wrapping paper and ribbons, love is displayed New holiday memories will soon be made. Beneath the tree, where laughter finds its place, Smiles unwrap joy, in each eager embrace. A warm hug, that takes away the cold, Unwraps love and feels like gold. As bells chime in the New Year's embrace, Resolutions bloom, a fresh start we chase. A paper blank, with dreams to be unfurled, Hope and promise, in the hands of the world.

Empty. That’s all I see is a void of emptiness among the stars. It’s been 1 year and 5 months since my team and I were sent up here, there were 5 of us including me. And 3 months since everyone else has been picked off by whatever is on this nightmare of a ship. Everyone but me, but I know I’ll soon be joining my team. Perhaps not by whatever or whoever is on this ship, but of starvation and dehydration. I ran out of food 5 days ago and only had a little water left to keep me going. 	I hear a faint scraping noise coming from the entrance door. I’ve learned not to trust any noise that comes from any point in the ship. That's how the medic Steven got picked off, Steven was a nice guy, and took care of us whenever we had minor injuries, he was the first. The scraping sound continued around and headed towards the garden where we used to grow our food. That was the last place our scientist Professor Racker was before he was taken. Racker was your stereotypical scientist, geeking out on everything and experimenting on what we found in the net to catch the debris, he was the second. The scraping stops briefly then turns to the captain's quarters. Our poor naive captain, Katrina, was the only one that went to space before and from what she said she seemed to enjoy her time up here the first time but now, she was taken from her room with nothing but a bloody trail leading to somewhere in the ship left, she was the third.

"Alone in space or am I?" By Gianna D'Alesandro

That only left me and our engineer Bradley. He didn’t like me very much. I didn't care when we started this journey and just focused on my job to keep the communication up so we had at least some connection to Earth, but after all the disappearances or as I now know them - the deaths. We had to trust each other and get along to survive. It didn't last long, he tried to leave me behind in an escape pod that he rebuilt, he didn’t get the chance to even pack his bag before he was abducted too, he was the fourth. The scraping was in the room right next to me circling. Then there was only me, Alexis, head of communication. I tried to get some response from Earth after Bradley was gone but whatever is here broke every single thing that could be used. I even thought to use the newly built escape pod courtesy of Bradley, but it had tons of scratch marks on the control panel so I didn’t bother.

I shallow my roots, sprouting my seeds, And I turn and turn until I see new light fade into thee A new era that surrounds but doesn’t involve me. I shake and the wind dances with my leaves, A pretty moment made for those who wouldn’t expect to see or believe. I dream a song that rhymes, And each time I begin to see the many crimes The children and grandparents who sit at my roots and begin to cry. Their sobs remind me how beauty can be evil. Something you love yet so deceitful. So now I sing another song, Something that makes me feel like I belong, I hum and mumble a love song. Something that distracts two birds with no wrong. They hold hands and ignore each of their flaws, The kind that you would pray would go away, But stayed no matter how long you prayed. They stayed for years, Until young priests shed their tears and put them to disappear, In a casket placed exactly next to the front, And once they see the light, the sun, they begin to run. Without tripping like the others, they arise and both become one. A story that existed with no wrong. A love story that existed with two people who meant to belong. Together they live in harmony, In one type of body soul heartily.

Space is a waste Waste is a place in space If waste is a place in space How wasteful is space The amount of time in space goes on and on. But if space is waste Does that mean time is waste? But if time is waste and waste is space what really is a perfect place if a perfect place is in space and space is waste. Does that mean there is no perfect place in space. If a perfect place doesn't embrace space then what is the point of space? But a perfect place doesn't have to be in space is not your perfect place then space is truly a waste.

Exploring new heights for ourselves and each other. As we glimpse into the past, A time that is gone We remember our joy and suffering. But in this universe, we find our place Across the country as well as the globe We are a small part of the past But forever connected by the threads of a ball. So let us cherish each moment as it comes, In the journey of life, where our story molds We will forever be intertwined Through the beauty and suffering of football.

Space and time are out of our control, but how we choose to spend it, is what feeds our soul. Although it may hurt our entire being,&nbsp; to know that our time could be stolen, perhaps that’s what gives our lives meaning. Life can only be what you make of it, We must live in the present,&nbsp; And enjoy every bit. Sometimes we get held in the past, and the pain of it is hard to admit, but nothing is here to last. So we must fill up our space, as people fill our hearts,&nbsp; and learn what it means to truly embrace. Take the chances that come your way, look at life through rose-tinted glasses, learn to love something about each day. Think less about the material things, do the things you love, and always accept what life brings. Our time and space can never be controlled, so live a life of unknowing,&nbsp; your story is yet to be told.

This world is so unique with it’s gadgets and tools, First day of school, it has so many rules. There is a new day and new friends, This is a new life with new trends. Meet a person and fall in love, A new test in life that i’m not proud of. Love falls to shatters and is reborn as a friend, A true connection may be damaged but never ends. This world is difficult and always changing, When old friends leave and new keep coming. The work is getting tedious and im slowly sinking, Through water, through tar, my world is shaking. Something has changed but when did it start? From bright lights to shadows, was it always so dark? A celebration of victory from one school to another, The classmates I hated are now my sisters and brothers. This world is now grand and not a fishbowl, A new adventure has started and I already have a goal. From studying to partying my friend group has grown, From 1 to 4 and now I’m never alone. My grades soar but why is my mental poor? This world is so big but and I feel so minor. I made it out and a new journey begins, My major may not help me but I’m determined to win.

From late night to early morning, When did this world become so tiring? From friend to lover you’ve always been there, From fall to rise, now a new life we will share. Now early morning to late evenings, We hardly see each other before one is leaving. We make time to love and share in our achievements, We made it to the top and it has helped our easements. A baby girl has entered the world, This odd world is full of twists and twirls. Nothing is simple but you make it easy, The three of us together keep it from being uneasy. Where has time gone, you’re already in school, It’s up and flown, I hope we never stop being cool. Just like a baby bird, you went and flew the coop, You already know, when it comes to you, I want the scoop. This world, once fast, now seems so slow. You have your own job but your father now sounds like a crow. We are living well though we have started breaking down, I had to call you cause I couldn’t walk in the town. Your father is gone, he’s on the hill, This world is so bright but now I’ve gone still.

With time running out, and the clock almost at zero, our team needed a bucket. Who will be the hero? We called a timeout and drew up a play. It was a long shot, but we could only pray. The timeout was done, and it was now or never. Who will take the shot, and be remembered forever? The ball was passed in, and the shot was taken. Everyone watched and stared, it could not be retaken. The shot fell in, and they chanted his name. They have stunned their rivals, no one will forget this game.

the world can be a very cruel place sometimes feeling like you're lost in outer space people struggle beneath the surface time can heal, but what’s your purpose? waiting too long to seek what you're missing voices in your head sounding like hissing planets colliding in front of your eyes you don’t even realize because you're in disguise the clock is ticking while time runs out new identities show as the plants sprout what has this world become? why do people feel so vulnerable and numb? it’s like if we were to move to space everything will be different, there’s more to chase new opportunities will come along for those who feel lost,won’t be for long many people spend their time living on a planet where nothing is fine in the end, it’s what’s best for them maybe it’ll be better in a universe that never ends.

The walls around me are getting pretty thin I heard you tell your friends that you're over it But I hope that's not true and I hope that you want me too. You said that you needed space. "Time and Space" by Amiyah McCants Close but far Lost but found When I first saw you I knew My world would turn around. Your eyes they glow and look like Honey in the sun. That was only for some time before Things went downhill. Maybe I was wrong for thinking This could be real. Should I walk away? I really don’t know what to say. Space? Is that what I need? Or maybe a conversation only between You and me.&nbsp; We were so close now Drifting apart. Seems to me I’m the only One that wants to restart.

Same, but different In love, but broken&nbsp; How do I know it’s my time To be chosen.&nbsp; I’ll leave it alone. You do what you do.&nbsp; I would&nbsp; Say "I love you" but I don’t know if you love me too. Time or space. Maybe we need both. Honestly, what if this is all a joke? I want us to be real. I want us to Be true but once again like I said,&nbsp; I'll leave this choice to you.&nbsp;

"My Space" by Brooklyn Lintz My space a place to erase all the toll time has taken on my mind. I cry and die inside subjected to an unfulfilling body and soul. I float aimlessly with only goals never to be complete carrying me, and when the emptiness becomes too loud it's filled with the sound of my feet starting to ache, walking towards an endless goal. Odes to myself too That drown out the disappointment and pain of getting nowhere as the days endure.

"Space and Time" by Chardae Pittman Time flies s distance grows What once used to make you smile may become the one thing that brings you down. Maturing isn't quite serene, it's simply a part of being. Friends turned to foes as burdens continue to load. As a child we're left to wonder what our future holds. With these lessons, we carry every answer to allow our truth to be told. Live, learn, and continue to grow. For it is that time will tell and space is boundless. There's no capacity for growth. The measure of capability one can contain is countless. We choose and have a choice every day we're blessed to wake To make, create, and become.

We can all strive for greatness in which it looks and is defined differently, infinitely all over humanity This time that you're given in this space that you're living is resourceful You can fail a test get in a fight and be full of regret Yet there's insight to gain To get an A, meet good people and find determination Two of the most hastily neglected yet precious things We're not JUST human beings Who are we not to be or ever aspire and express our individuality?

In the face of tragedy, Damar stood strong, Let me share his story in a heartfelt song. Damar Hamlin, a soul with a heavy heart, Through trials and tribulations, he played his part. In the depths of sorrow, he found his might, A resilient spirit, shining ever so bright. Through the storms that raged, he held his ground, Facing each tragedy, with strength is profound. With grace and courage, he faced his fears, Wiping away the pain, and shedding no tears. Each chapter of his life, a testament true, To his resilience, and the battles he'd pursue. From the darkest nights, he found his way, Rising above, to embrace a brand-new day. Damar Hamlin, a symbol of strength and grace, In the face of tragedy, he found his place. May his story inspire, may it ignite, A flame of hope, burning ever so bright.
