Scientists and Teachers Engaging in Professional Development with University Personnel, STEPD-UP: Spotlight Technology for the Future, SMART START, NY Focus Area: Educational Technology



The STEPD-UP Brentwood Elementary and Middle School Teacher Cohort rolled out an exciting modular-based PD approach using a cohort model in collaboration with Stony Brook University.


In collaboration with the Stony Brook School of Professional Development at and the Department of Ecology and Evolution the STEPD-UP program created cutting edge lessons with educators to roll-out the NYS Digital Fluency Standards.
With the use of MOSAIC Instructional Planning, educators have developed lessons of emerging relevance.
