I sat beside Eamonn N. and Jason on my first day. I was really nervous and scared. Jason was really shy at first. Eventually we started talking and became best friends. We are still best friends to this day. AdamLoading...
On my first day of school I sat beside Adam and Jason at the round table in Miss Lyon’s class. Miss Lyons had to move us soon after though because Adam and I wouldn't stop talking about tractors! Eamonn N.Loading...

I remember on photo day in junior infants I spilled yogurt all over my jumper so in the picture there's yogurt all over my jumper. By DaraFirst Day Jitters for some.....
I remember my first day as one of the most nerve- wracking days. As I walked into the school I became overwhelmed with all the children and began to cry. I protested outside the door and began screaming. Eventually my mom helped me to calm down and I went in and began playing. I sat beside Katelyn and began to play with the sand. I completely forgot about my mom and I then knew I would be just fine.

Megan brings her own teddy to school for 'Show and Tell'
My first day of school was…… interesting. It took a lot to get me through the door. Ms. Lyons and my mom had their hands full with little 5 year old Megan that wouldn't go into school. I remember that Ms. Lyons told the children (Michael and Lucy) that I knew from playschool to try and get me to go play with the toys in the corner but I still didn't want to go in. I probably wanted to go home and watch Disney Junior to be honest! After all that drama I finally went in..... because of a teddy with a school uniform on. By Megan
......but not for others!
jorja can tell her barbies how to cross their arms
In Junior Infants we had so many arguments. Some I remember well are Eva and I fighting about who had more animals and me telling Eamon Flanagan how to pronounce words or how to cross his arms.

I remember being quite confident going into Ms. Lyon's classroom. I sat beside Jorja and we started talking. However we soon started arguing about who had the most animals. We both made up tons of fake animals and we kept arguing until the next day when we forgot and started playing together. - Eva
Who owns the most animals now?
At last count Eva!

A Visit to the Library
In Junior Infants at Halloween, we went to Ballyhaunis library. We were very excited because we were going to meet a witch. The witch read 'Room on the Broom'. Some of us had to go to the front and act it out. At the end she told us that we would see her flying past on her broomstick on Halloween if we ate the jelly bean that she gave us. By Conor and Eamonn
Confession : Megan confessed that she never ate the jelly bean as she was afraid that she would see the witch
One of our best memories was from Junior Infants when Ms. Lyons played a prank on us for April Fools' Day. She told us that a circus was coming to our school. We took our chairs outside. When we got outside we were all excited and ready. Then she shouted 'April Fools.' We soon saw the funny side of it! We laughed and laughed! We soon forgot all about the circus when Ms. Lyons gave each of us sweets instead. By Katelyn and Rhianna

The Circus Came to Bekan.... or did it?
Talented Sports Stars Since Junior Infants
Sports day in 2014 was our first Sports Day ever. It was a hot summer's day and we were so excited because we thought we would win everything! We participated in the sack race, running race, egg and spoon race and the penalty shoot out. If we think of it now they were going really easy on us in the penalty shoot out and they just let the goals in while all of the sixth class at the time were cheering us on!
In our first year of getting medals they gave us a medal for participating so there would be no sad face!
