Charlie and Joe are at a baseball game. They notice that there are baseballs and bats laying on the ground in the dugout. Joe says the ratio of baseballs to bats is 6:7.
When writing ratios you need to make sure to write it the way the question is asking. If the question was asking 'What is the ratio of bats to baseballs?' and Joe said 6:7 still he would be incorrect.
