Project description
The eTwinning project "Slow Food" took place from December 2019 to June 2020 in cooperation with Turkey, Italy, Poland and Croatia.
It aims at enhancing the regional and national gastronomic heritage and local products, respecting the biodiversity.
It pursued the following objectives:
- to educate young people to a wealthy nutrition
- to know and appreciate own gastronomic heritage
- to share own food tradition with partners from Europe
- to develop linguistic and digital skills
- to acquire European identity and active citizenship
- to learn how respecting esafety, privacy and copyright.
Project Plan
Since the beginning the Project Plan was very clear with precise deadlines and the rules of the code behaviour were highlighted.
All the partners schools focused netiquette and esafety.
The Safer Internet Day
The SID was celebrated at the IIS Liceo Medi (eTwinning school) on 11 February 2020 with a seminar for students during which experts such as the school webmaster, a lawyer and a pedagogist discussed about the dangers hidden in internet and cyberbullism.
Why to become a member of the project?
The search for suitable partners was not easy and it was a long process.
Finally Turkey, Italy, Poland and Croatia formed a good team.

Communication and exchange
Partners communicated by different means: TwinMail, Forum, Teachers' bulletin, emails, WhatsApp group and online meetings in the TwinSpace and in eTwinning live.
