Hello, I am pusheen the cat. I am 8 years old and I was alive in 1945, the year that America dropped a bomb on my country, Japan. On that day I was just eating lunch when suddenly I heard a rumble, I was terrified! I meowed my head of and ran for my life! Suddenly I heard a loud noise and heard people screaming! That's when I knew that someone had dropped an atomic bomb.

Hello, I'm Charles Sweeney, the pilot of the plane that dropped the atomic bomb on Nagasaki in 1945. The atomic bomb was called 'Fat Man', because it was so big and round. When my Commander told me I had to drop an atomic bomb on Nagasaki I really didn't want to, but my commander forced me to by saying he would kill me if I didn't. So I dropped it, But I really didn't want to and I still feel really guilty, even after everything.

I was in my house playing, when suddenly I was blown out of the window! I was so scared! My mum rushed out of the house to find me unharmed, and safe. Me and my mum ran away as fast as we could from the bomb. Suddenly black rain started pouring down on us, acid rain. Me and my mum just kept running.
10 years later, I was at school, when suddenly bumps started appearing all over my body! I was taken to hospital. That's when the doctor came with some bad news, he said that I was ill from the atomic bomb, and I didn't have long left to live. One day I went to one of the other patients in the hospital, to chat. The girl told me a Japanese legend, that said ' if you make 1000 paper cranes you can have a wish', so sadako made over 1000 cranes, but sadly she still died.
