Eye Spy: The Parasitic Peril

"Now that you are here, I can tell you my very evil plan.

I am going to blast dangerous parasites into the cheese and on the opening day everybody will try the cheese and the disaster will start!"

Now that explained everything. But did anybody know something she didn't?

This really got her thinking. who did the hand belong to and is that person anything to do with the germs? Sophie wrote down the things that she knew and what she didn't know.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When Sophie arrived at the leisure centre she didn't go in the pool, she just went round the back. There was a drain next to a huge bin. That drain was one of the many entrances to HQ. Checking that nobody was looking, Sophie bundled in. She walked along the passage until she saw a small hole in the wall. The Passageways were as dark as a bat cave but Sophie could still see using her special light gadget that helped her see wherever she was. Sophie climbed through the hole as if it was a theme park ride, and just like that she slid into a lit up room. " Ah yes, miss Sophie, Lulu would like to have a word," said a voice. The voice belonged To Lulu's secretary, Doctor Shrimp. "And what's with the ballet outfit? You know our rules about clothing. You must wear something appropriate. This is a secret HQ, not a theatre! And why are you wearing a blue jumper. Our uniform is black." "Sorry Doctor Shrimp. It was the only thing I could find," muttered Sophie. " Anyway, there has been something strange going on around here. Everybody has been a little bit, mmmm, well, Private. There has been more caution. Like people wearing dark clothes and whispering."

At the end of the event, Lola made her speech and mentioned about the whole Australian fib. But Sophie realised she had done a most terrible thing - she lied. And now she has got everybody thinking that the towns owner of the local cheese factory is in Australia. Awkward. But suddenly she saw a Sue-shaped-shadow. The shadow coughed.

Of course, Sophie didn't really need the toilet. This was a disaster! She had totally forgotten what to do about the cheese tasting open day. But this time she made a fake message on the mobile:

And what a good day it was. It was a potential disaster having Sophie's Mum running the open day, It could have been more like a shoe exhibit. Luckily she told Sophie her plans, it was generally and naturally and obviously and completely utterly NO and Sophie managed to convince her Mum to be sensible.  It could have been like this:

Oh my goodness,  I am so sorry I forgot To tell you earlier, But you can feel free to take over The cheese factory opening day.

Lola used to be a fashion model in China because she was tall and stylish and completely Glorious. She was obsessed with her fame and always managed to slip the word 'shoe' in any conversation.

2: Sophie and the white board The day before the cheese factory visit arrived and Sophie woke up early on the Saturday morning to her Guinea pig, scratching on the side of the cage. He was probably hungry. " Ok, Ok, hold on," Sophie said, half awake. She passed a stick of celery to Nuts, her Guinea pig. He totally suited the name. But suddenly, her watch beeped. That only meant one thing. She needed to go to HQ, and fast. She put on her ballerina tutu because it was the only black thing she could find and black was the uniform - HQ was very strict.

Then she had a look at the piece of paper. One side said, 'meet here at 11.' The other side said, 'Sue's cheese factory.com.' Of course! It all made sense! It was Aunt Sue's idea to murder the town, to take over the land. It was her hand that was in the shoe cupboard and she passed the note to Sophie. She must have some kind of weapon which will put parasites in the cheese for everybody to eat and then she will take over. Why would she do that? Now that is the question. Who knew that the spy's auntie would be the evil villain. Odd.

4: A meeting at the cheese factory Sophie was worried; it was eight o clock pm and she set her alarm to wake up at half past 10. It was a risk - if she doesn't stop Aunt Sue, it will all be too late and being killed by her own Auntie is well,Terrible. But it was ok, Sophie was very confident and her Auntie was forty years old but she still had a chance, it was a forty year old against a ten year old.

"Why hello Sophie. I wondered when you would come and destroy my plans," came a hissy voice and then the Door creaked open. "Well you don't need to wonder anymore because memory is a troubling thing when you are a member of the elderly," replied Sophie, giggling. She knew her auntie's voice even if it sounded like she had swallowed a swallow swallowing a swallowed snake. "Well obviously you are too confident," spat Sue. One of her rotten teeth fell in front of Sophie. "Have you visited your dentist lately? You need an updated appointment. And I never knew that you had a passion for shoes, not quite as stylish as your Sister though," Sophie retorted.

Sophie stared hard at her Aunt Sue's shoes. Even Sophie thought they were boring. If Lola was here now, she would most likely say:

This is exactly what Sophie expected. Then she saw a big bag tipping something into a big pipe. "What is that?" Asked Sophie. "A special ingredient," Hissed Aunt Sue. I have had enough of this, thought Sophie. And just like that, she pushed her Auntie into the dairy machine! But not quite. Unfortunately, she got stuck at the top of the pipe.....

"Aaaaaaaagggggghhhhhh! What a toad of a child! You disgust me! When I get out it will be you who will get the punishment! You are a stupid little pig! The cheese factory is a stupid little pig! If you dare press that mixing button young lady, you are in BIG TROUBLE!

1: My shoes Sophie was cycling on her bike down macaroni street, pedalling as fast as she could to meet her friends at Pete's cafe. Obviously, it was run by a jolly man called Pete and his cafe was an absolute blob of success. Not literally, otherwise it would be very Squidgy but it Did provide squidgy Sundaes. It made everybody say "yum!"

Anyway, when Sophie arrived she met her friends Holly, Josh and Cassidy. "Hello Sophie," Cassidy whispered. "Why are you whispering," asked Sophie. "Because I am." "So?" They all ordered a sticky gooey sundae with marshmallows, strawberries and bits of toffee balanced carefully on top.

After being filled up with pudding, Sophie headed off home. When she got there, she found her Mum talking on the phone having a rather odd Conversation. "Yes Cheryl, that is very funny, ha ha ha. What? Oh yes, my shoes, ha ha ha. How exquisite a new pair of shoes to my gallery? ha ha ha." Yes, this may appear a strange thing but it's daily life for Sophie. So, advice: Get used to it quick.

Lola ( Sophie's mum ) finished her call and placed the phone back where it belonged. "Ok, honey, I have some horrifying news, bad news, good news and amazing news," Sophie dreaded to think what that might be but she listened anyway. "Horrifying news - The old man that I met at the supermarket who apparently lives across the road spat on my suede boots which are brand new. Bad news - I ordered the pink pumps but got the peach ones instead. Good news - no good news to brief about that yawn of a shoe shop with no passion for fashion. Amazing news - we have a rare chance to visit your Aunt Sue's cheese factory! Yes!" She said this all without taking a proper breath and as a result looked like she was about to suffocate. "Oh my darling, I must take a rest."

"So? Where is Lulu?" Asked Sophie, puzzled. "I'm afraid she's spying on the government in Russia and her twin sister is hanging on the wall," replied the lady. "But she has left a note." "I can see that," said Sophie. "Very clearly. But why is she in Russia and do you mean to say there is a twin sister which is the board?" "Her name is Lulu and she has left a note." Replied the woman. "Look, lady, I am sorry to say that I think you have some kind of medical condition of amnesia. So I suggest you take a trip to the doctors surgery or else because you are a big pain and I need to concentrate. Not to mention your stupidness about a white board called Lulu."

3: more shoes Sophie grabbed the big book from the desk and headed off home. Back through the waiting room, back through the tube, back to the passageway and out of the drain. Sophie just remembered she needed to get some new shoes for her mum, Lola. But Lola already had so many pairs!

Sophie managed to slip the scene. She walked up towards the shadow. As she came nearer, the shadow was gradually fading away. "It just goes to show," snarled Sophie. "Never get too confident," And with that the shadow drifted away. Aunt Sue was still lurking, but nothing could ruin the day. In the distance, feintly, Sophie could hear more coughing.

And of course, there were many more shoes. When Sophie arrived at the shoe shop, to her surprise all of the shoes were black. "For budgies sake!" Cried Sophie. She asked a shoe shop lady to see if there were any shoes that weren't black, and the shoe shop lady was in a hurry, and just said "Why? I don't know that but you can see for yourself. The cupboard is over there," she pointed at some doors. Sophie walked in, surrounded by all of the boxes of shoes. "Now, where should I start?" She muttered to herself. She marched from box to box but didn't find any shoes that were not black. But suddenly, she heard a piece of paper fall on to the floor followed by a crash. Then she saw a hand reaching for her. Somebody was in there with her. But who? There was no time to think about that now. Sophie had to run.

Parasites

Parasites are Evil to the human world - they are killers and many people have been trying to stop them for years. Every one has failed so far in the huge ongoing history.

Howpeopleavoidthem People avoid them by: Dressing up in dark clothes - parasites are attracted to light Whispering - they are also attracted to loud noises because that indicates there is an alive meal near by Being private about things - this way is much safer.

Most Parasites are tiny but others are large.

I really want to be a spy when I grow up, but realising the chances of that are very low, I decided to write about them instead. I can play the flute, I love guinea pigs (I have a guinea pig called Pickle) and I really like fish and chips.

As you can see, I am a big fan of colourful things like purple and yellow, and I really like making up stories and drawing pictures. I have had a go at making other books since I was 4 or 5, but I never quite finished all of them!

But she still had to change out of her pyjamas into some proper clothes.

Sophie climbed out of her bedroom window down the drain pipe and rode on her bike to the cheese factory and knocked on the huge steel door.

"Good idea!" Shouted Sophie. She hit the button and the machine EXPLODED!!!

"Mum! I am just going to go swimming!" Shouted Sophie from upstairs. "Of course Sophie. I'm very glad you are concentrating on sports so much. Oh, and be a darling and buy me some New shoes." Sophie put on her favourite jumper and cycled to the leisure centre. As she cycled down the street, she noticed everybody was wearing black. What was happening? First her friend Cassidy was whispering strangely, now everybody was wearing black. Odd. At least Sophie wasn't the only one wearing black. Maybe it was National wearing black day.

The alarm clock went off and it was time to risk certain Death!

2 and a half hours later......

Thank goodness Lola was a loud snorer - Sophie couldn't let any body know she was creeping out of the house so late. It needed to be totally top secret. So due to loud snoring, you wouldn't hear a door open but that is easy. That is only step one. But in this case, Sophie was going to be more adventurous and climb down the drain pipe out of her window. It would be quieter too.

This is how it went..... Sophie (Pretending to be Aunt Sue): Oh, hello, darling Lola, I would just like to mention that I am staying in Australia for a couple of months so I will be uncontactable. Don't tell anyone because it is quite secret. Lola: Of course lovely, it won't pass my lips. Aunt Sue: And how is Sophie? I hope she is getting on well. Lola: Oh yes, she is, she is. Well, have a divine time! Aunt Sue: I certainly will. Good bye! Lola: Good bye darling.

Lola put the receiver down. "Honey pie, please may I had a word?" She called out up the stairs. "Yeah," Sophie sauntered down the stairs. They met up in the kitchen. "I am afraid your Aunt Sue has gone to live in Australia so we won't meet up at the factory after all," "Oh. Er... Really? Mm, I need the loo," said Sophie, dashing to the bathroom. "I won't be long!"

5: Back home It was now 5 AM in the morning and Sophie really needed to head off back home. She cleared up a teeny weeny midge of the factory and managed to make the cheese hygienic and safe, using a new gadget from HQ. She held down the button, hovered it over the affected areas and like magic the parasites were utterly gone. After the clear up, she hopped on her bike and went home. But what will Sophie do about Auntie Sue? Well, she had a plan.... She ran upstairs and use her Mum's mobile.

"Miss Sophie, Lulu is ready to see you now," announced a tall lady, popping her head round the door.

She sprinted out of the shop forgetting the shoes and jumped onto her bike. Sophie peddled as fast as she could all the Way home. What was that? Who was that? And what was that paper there for? Thank goodness Sophie slipped it into her pocket otherwise there would be no evidence.

Now all Sophie had to do was find out who the hand belonged too and read the book that HQ had given her. She read the book first. In the contents, there was a highlight on the word parasite on page 42. This is what the page said:
