One of my favorite ways I learned from another teacher was creating a "Mother's Day" book.

She created pictures of the students and had them list the reasons they loved their moms.

A2-My students love creating with Book Creator because of the publishing aspect. Creating for the world to read is a huge motivator. Kristen

Students do their best writing when they have time to prewrite. This is important in science writing, too!

Using the Clips app on the iPad helps my students share their science. They can use demonstrations, images, voice, and text. Those videos can be added to their Book Creator science journals for review, again and again!

Give each student the "prescription" for literacy success by offering various tools to practice and grow with. Science communication skills go beyond the typical lab report.

Flocabulary's educational hip hop cannot be beat. The wealth of knowledge and vocabulary a student can gain from a short hip hop song is amazing!

BookCreator is an amazing way to create digital portfolios! Our young students are masters of their own learning and so proud of what they share. It's engaging, purposeful and fun!

We love publishing in Book Creator and then having a formal author's tea to share with our community!

We had a blast using Book Creator to introduce our new faculty to our community!

Dr. Nancy Smith (Aunt Goodiebags) I showed off Book Creator at our local Barnes and Noble Maker Faire. The book was done in Book Creator (about HyperDuino which I was also showing) and printed on my laser printer!
