In the week from 15/05 to 21/05 we went to Neustrelitz, in Germany, to take part in the final event of the Erasmus project that we started online in March and continued in April.

As pre-task, each group had to bring a bottle of water from their local lakes and create a presentation with the information about the lakes.

In this book you will find a summary of the entire week.

DAY 0
Our Erasmus week started on Sunday 15th May in a sort of hard way. Firstly we woke up really early because we had to meet at 5.15 am in front of our school. When we were all together, we left Cuneo to go to Milano Linate airport. On the way, almost everybody slept until we reached the airport.
Once there, we quickly did the check-in. However, during the cabin baggage screening, there were two funny episodes: firstly our schoolmate Francesco tried to go through security with his phone in his pocket. It was not a smart choice. Secondly, Giacomo quietly followed him, but he had a piece of parmesan in his backpack which was mistaken for a pack of cocaine.
He was also given a drug test, strangely negative.
After this we boarded the plane to Berlin airport, it was a smooth flight.
In Berlin, we took two trains to get to Neustrelitz, and while we were waiting for the second one, we had a quick lunch.
Our host families were waiting for us, except for Simone, who had to wait for one hour before the family arrived.
Our hosts showed us the house and then we finally had dinner. Time to finish emptying the suitcases it was already late and therefore, tired because of the long journey, we went to sleep.
DAY 1
The first day in Neustrelitz started in a pretty shocking way: lessons begin at 7:45 at Gymnasium Carolinum! We had set the alarm at least an hour and a half before, so we spent a lot of time just waiting. Once at school, we visited the lake in front of it, called Glammi, while we collected the rubbish that had been left on the ground the day before. After having eaten the fabulous pasta with würstel, the teachers divided us into different international groups.
DAY 1
Each group had to take funny photos in different places in Neustrelitz. The goal of the game was to get to know the city and some of its characteristic places better. When we finished, everyone got back home and enjoyed the dinner with their hosts.
