Thank you to the previous school for the pencils. We were so happy with Teddy's gift.

We were so excited to meet Teddy. We had waited so long to see him. We couldn't wait any longer!

We received wonderful gifts from the previous school so we wanted to do the same for the next school. So we coloured some beautiful bookmarks for them!

Every Tuesday our class is joined by our friend Gigi the monkey who spends a whole week with a lucky student.  When Gigi visited today he made a new friend Teddy :) Teddy enjoyed listening to Gigi's adventures with the kids!

Fridays for us mean ZUMBA time . The class took turns to give Teddy a good twirl :)

So we decided to give Teddy a tour around Birgu.

Later teddy helped us to cut pictures of foods from magazines and sort them to create a chart about healthy and unhealthy foods.

Finally it was Valentine's Day! And Oh what a nice sunny day it was... Just a perfect day for a picnic

Together with Teddy we read the story 'The Teddy Bears' Picnic' as we sat on a blanket outside in the sun. Then we had our own picnic as we ate our yummy and healthy lunches.

We thought it would be a lovely idea to send postcards of a drawing with Teddy to the next school. It was so much fun!

It sure was love at first sight! Good thing was Valentine's Day this week. Teddy could celebrate with us!

Since we couldn't get enough of our yummy picnic, in science, together with Teddy, we learned about healthy and unhealthy food.

We took Teddy out for a storytelling session.&#160; Since we are currently talking about our planet and space, together we read 'Mouse and the Moon'.

On Tuesday morning, we received a very interesting looking box. We were all so curious to find out what it is doing in our classroom.

First we tried to guess what might be in the box by holding and feeling the box. Then, we opened it and found...

Even though we were quite sad, we knew it was time to let Teddy continue his adventure.

We gave Teddy a haircut and we found our school location on the map.

We visited Esplora with Teddy.

With all this cold weather we are having, Teddy came up with the idea to drink some hot chocolate too to warm us all up :) 

We also taught Teddy how to use a beebot during the English lesson. Teddy helped us find words which have the 'oa' digraph!

As a follow-up activity, we made a bear's face using healthy ingredients.

We found a mysterious box in our classroom.

Ms Lorna invited us to prepare some gifts for the children welcoming Teddy in their school.

Here we are using the parachute for a fun activity.

We found Teddy a nice and cosy place in class where he can learn with us all day long. We had been learning about bears lately because we LOVE bears and therefore Teddy made new friends quickly.

It was important for us to know who Teddy is and which schools he has already visited. So, we checked his passport.

We also set off to get Teddy's passport imprinted with our school's stamp.

The Head of School Ms Lorna explained to us that someone very special is going to visit our class.

Wednesday was a very busy day for us. We started our day by reading Teddy's letter.

Later on that day, we did some yoga.  We felt so much better afterwards .

Together with Teddy we sowed some lettuce in the soil so that after 5 weeks we can eat the lettuce in a Maltese 'ftira'!

Why is this box in our classroom?&#160;

On Friday we left school a bit curious as a big box had arrived in our class.... it was a loooong weekend and we had lots of time to imagine what might be in the box??

On Tuesday it was time to go back to school and finally open our mysterious box...

We opened it and found a teddy-bear. His name was Teddy.

And in a flash, the moment we were all waiting for has arrived. It was time to say goodbye.

It was Monday morning, when upon entering the classroom we saw a mysterious looking box.

Did Santa come again and bring us more gifts?

Could it be chocolate? Or perhaps LOL dolls? 

I think it's a lot of Mr.English and a lot of Sur Malti!

Teddy made friends with Mr.English and Sur Malti ! They had fun chatting together. 

Teddy also helped us learn the digraph 'ai' during the English lesson, by telling us about his favourite things.

We had been learning about time so a fun physical activity involved playing What's the time Mr Bear?

We even played catch with Teddy. Everyone wanted to be caught by Teddy. We were so excited!

On Tuesday, Teddy gave us another letter. In his letter, Teddy told us that he likes to eat fruits and vegetables, he doesn't like noisy classrooms and he loves doing yoga. 

Teddy helped us learn all about addition possibilities. 

We decided to prepare some yummy strawberry jelly just in time for Valentine's day and we took Teddy with us. He enjoyed watching us do the jelly and learning how cold temperatures turned liquids into solids.

On Thursday, we read the very last letter from Teddy. 

Lesson Time. Teddy joined us for our Maltese lesson. He made a new friend, Peppi the Koala, who assists the teacher during the Maltese lesson.

We gave Teddy some directions about beautiful spots in Birgu.

As much as we hate to say goodbye..... .....it's time! But of course in THREE different languages!

Since this was the last day, we made it extra special for Teddy and we started the day with some outdoor time. 

We were so happy to find Teddy! Oh! And thank you to the other kids and their teacher for the stickers

Teddy brought us some pencils and beautiful bookmarks made by the other children. In the box there was also a letter, which explained what Teddy was doing in our classroom.

And then it was time to say goodbye.

Oh how lovely it was to have Teddy with us. We will surely miss him!

In his letter, Teddy told us that he wished for more clothes. So today, we decided to decorate some clothes for Teddy!

On Thursday, Teddy also participated in capacity activities. 

We have some foreign students in class so we started by teaching Teddy some languages by greeting him in THREE different languages!

Teddy joined us for a little arts and crafts activity. Together, we made a Valentine's gift and card for our loved ones.

We loved teddy immediately. We took him with us everywhere.

Now it was time to say good bye ... it wasn't easy but it was time for Teddy to go have fun with other children.

Teddy also took part in the interactive activity with the students. Learning all about the Maltese letter v was so much fun!

Teddy started to learn the numbers with us.

We related Teddy with the story We are going on a bear hunt.

Then, we went over the sequence of the story using a bee bot.
