ABOUT THE SPIDER MONKEY
The spider monkey is a primate of South America belonging to the genus Ateles, which refers to the absence of opposable thumb, unlike most primates.
CHARACTERISTICS ABOUT THE SPIDER MONKEY

2. The body length range is between 35 and 66 centimeters.

3. Its thick coat is dark, with lighter Brown tints or beige or White in the areas of the chest, belly and the internal area of the limps.

4. They eat fruits, nuts, and leaves, but can consume bird eggs, insects, spiders, three bark, and honey. 
HABITATS
Spider monkeys range from southern Mexico to Brazil, including Central America. There are some species present in Colombia , Venezuela, Bolivia, Brazil, Peru, Honduras, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Belize, El Salvador, Panama, Nicaragua, and Colombia. But the original was in Mexico.
