Then on August 12 the worst thing possible happened. I died in Santillo. Hey hey don't be sad amigo, we all die at some point plus I was an old man. But my death is a little different because some people celebrated and some people were sad but I am not bothered.

I mean look at me, I live on through the many stories told about me. Don't believe me? I died in 1915 and what year are you reading this now? Exactly. Follow me my amigo as we discuss what I was able to do in my amazing life.

Everyone has a "peak" of life. The "peak" of my ruling occurred when I moved with the Conservative army to handle the tasks of my newfound presidency.

Unfortunately, my government was weak. I had trouble handling two of the strongest generals of the army. Their names were Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata. Rather than bringing peace, this caused more issues.

After these problems were identified, I changed the capital of Mexico. Crazy right?! It went from being in Mexico City to San Luis Potosí. Who could ever imagine moving an entire capital! Post this movement, I resigned as president, making peace with Carranza. Finally, some time for relaxation.

When I returned to Mexico, I took the position as senator of Coahuila in the 1920s. Supporting an unsuccessful rebellion made my career come to an end. I definitely should not have supported them. But all in all, retirement treated me well and I was able to support new coming political leaders.

The Convention made military people carry the meetings. The people caused a fight that made me the President. Can you believe that? I was chosen as President over FIRST CHIEF! Instead of choosing Venustiano Carranza, I was chosen! Anyways, this election caused even more violence.

Don't worry amigo, this word may look scary but it's basically telling you where the people who wrote this book found all the information about my lovely life!

I was born in 1880 on the Hacienda Santo Domingo in the village of Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila. My family and I were peasants and I was a shepherd in my youth. I later became a miner for the Mazapil Copper Company of Concepción del Oro, in Zacatecas.

This shiny medal was given to me to recognize the time I moved my government to the national capital. This was a great move on my behalf with horrid consequences. You see, my good friend Francisco Villa ordered the Minister of War to execute me. Me! But don't worry, I got my pay back. I moved my government from the capital to San Luis Potosi. Here I declared Francisco Villa and Venustiano Carranza as traitors (plus we don't hate each other anymore)!

At first I thought this trophy was for my mighty mustache. I mean it did take a lot of work to get it to look better than Brad Pitt's Pencil Mustache. Later, I was informed that it is actually for my actions. You see, I moved the Conventionist army to share responsibilities of my new presidential office. I had to because my government was very weak and I couldn't even control the two main army generals (Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata). Anyways, my decision to do this was a huge success.

In 1913 I joined the Constitutionalists. I then rose to military commander of San Luis Potosí in 1914. On November 3, 1914 I was selected by the representatives of the leading military commanders to serve as their president. I held this position until January 19, 1915.

Lets start off with my favorite trophy. I was awarded this beauty as I got elected as 41st provisional president of Mexico. This was during the Aguascalientes Convention. I only led Mexico for a solid 2 months but those were the best two months of my life.

Long before I was president, I was a general in the Mexican Revolution. I was important for many reasons. These reasons included my time ruling during the time of the Aguascalientes Convention. These reasons also led to my presidency when I was elected by two leaders.

In 1906 I became a member of Ricardo Flores Magón's Liberal Party. I then joined the group that was against the reelection of Porfirio Díaz in 1909. I supported Francisco Madero in 1910 with my brother Luis Gutiérrez.

I was quite the overachiever. I was always one upping my other leader friends throughout my life which made my trophy collection grow more and more. Anyway, throughout my life, I had several notable moments. Come follow me and take a look at my grand trophy case!

Now, when you mention my name to my frenemies such as Venustiano Carranza they are going to make me sound like a bad guy. But, don't trust them, I was a living legend (and I am currently a non living legend). Sorry that humor was a bit dark.

This rather large trophy was given to me after I resigned as president. I was told that this trophy signifies my ability to be mature not like Miley Cyrus when she performs on stage. I eventually exiled myself to the U.S. Then, I returned to Mexico because I had Alvaro Obregon had forgiven me. Later, I was elected as senator and later as governor of Coahuila. (I did end up criticizing Obregon's reelection but hey we're still great friends).

The end of my presidency caused great commotion. Support of the people of Mexico was divided between the parties. The year after this division, I was exiled. Yes, yes after all I did for the country I was exiled! Being sent to the United States, I took a break from presidency but did not hesitate to return to politics after making my appearance in Mexico.

Now this certificate is very special to me. It was given to me because I never gave up. I eventually criticized Alvaro Obregon's reelection (publicly) and I joined Jose Gonzalo's rebellion. I am completely honest when I say, I took NO BREAKS. In 1939, I ended up dying at age 58 in the city of Saltillo. Oh my dear reader, don't be sad. I had a great life! I'm so famous that you're reading a book about how famous I am! I mean it doesn't get much better than this! The Convention failed. To gain the support of the victorious revolutionaries, they split their support. Venustiano Carranza and Francisco Villa were on one side and Emiliano Zapata was on the other. I didn't support both Carranza and Villa during 1915. The following year I went into exile.

I returned to Mexico again to serve as a senator in the 1920s. Then (you'll laugh at this) I left Mexico AGAIN! I'll admit I am a sore loser and supporting the losing side of the rebellion is embarrassing. Don't judge! I then said to myself, it's time to give it a rest. So the one and only Eulalio Gutierrez... retired from politics (dramatic music).
