“SARA” BY CASE JERNIGAN AND MATTHEW BATE

This movie shows that in Iran women aren't respected and don't have the rights they should, for example, as far as sports are concerned.
The film shows us a girl that could only watch a football match if she went to another country, since the Iranian government didn't allow women to watch sports matches live or practise a variety of sports like basketball and volleyball. This is a behavior that still exists in the present, especially in African and Arabic countries, due to their culture.
We totally disagree with this behavior and we think that women in these countries need support and help to go through and fight against the situation .

"Dolápo is fine", by Ethosheia Hylton.
To be honest, I loved the film.
It correctly showed teenagers' feelings and how other people may influence them.
The video also had quite a good plot and it seemed well produced.
In addition, it fused well with the theme of human rights since freedom and independence played a huge role when the protagonist made her own choices despite other people's opinions.
Combine this with the emotions that it captivated and it becomes a very good short film.

Dolápò is fine
“Dolápo is fine” is a short film which was directed by Ethosheia Hylton and made accessible by FEST. It covers a very current theme and unfortunately still very present nowadays: Racism.
I really think that everyone should see this film because it shows what people of different races experience only because they have a different appearance. In this case, a black girl is advised to wear a wig to hide her natural hair, which is very characteristic of her race. Besides, this emotional film reveals the situation in other countries by showing that in India they cut girls' hair to make wigs. This really shocked me and I think that by seeing this film people will get the urge to change what is happening.
In addition, this film conveys a beautiful message: we should not stop being who we are just because of other people's opinions. We should be truthful to ourselves, because we are all amazing in our own way and no one is inferior just because of race.
