Cygnus World School successfully completed 10 years in December 2021, and a grand 10-day celebration was held for all the students from 1st to 10th December. There were different activities including cooking, games, crafts, etc. for the students. On the 10th day, there was an event held in the school auditorium which comprised of speeches by the founder, director, principal, and other school staff, dances, songs, skits, etc. Parents were invited and offline school had started just a week before. Soon after the festivities ended, the news was broken that offline school has been cancelled due to rising Covid-19 cases. The pompous celebration was streamed live on the school's YouTube channel and Facebook page.

The long pandemic break left the building of the school feeling empty. We decided to bring our campus back to life and give our students a chance to meet all their friends through a Meet and Greet!
Students across grades 1-5 indulged in laughter, entertainment and cherished every moment making memories with their friends. Games, dancing to sweet music and taking a tour of the school left all our students with a smile on their faces. We welcomed our adorable Cheviot Kids students back to school with ‘Let’s Connect!’.
The 90-minute event indulged all the children and their parents in exciting activities from storytelling to engaging games. The children were thrilled to visit the hopscotch room, indoor play area and the brand new jungle gym.

Offline School Started Again
Referring to the decision of the government, schools across the state are opening for Grades 1-5 once again, including Cygnus. The consent forms as well as the circulars were sent on 6th Feb, and the school will be opening from 10th Feb. Unlike before, we hope and pray that it will not have to go online again. 2 days before that, a circular with the Annual Exam Paper Pattern was sent, and there was a brief mentioning of attending school physically only for the exams which got everyone thinking. But then, the circular with the form was sent, verifying the doubts. School for Grade 6 onwards was already offline.

Well, the Annual Exam Fever has begun once again. The portion and timetable shared recently has given a shock to many students. The exam timetable appeared before the stress caused by the Unit Test got a chance to disappear. The paper pattern circular gave the information that the Annual Exams will be conducted physically. Before the Unit Test 2 held in January, a same type of circular was sent saying that the unit test will be conducted physically, but the plan was cancelled due to rising Covid-19 cases.

We celebrated the spirit of Christmas with Santa Claus to light up our celebrations with zeal, and enthusiasm. The students delightfully spent the day celebrating and indulging in delicious festive treats as they sang & danced to the melodious tunes of Christmas carols. Different activities were posted on the school Facebook page for the students to solve and DM their answers to receive prizes. The teachers dressed up in red, green and white attires and played a big role for the school day to be fun as well as educative for the students.
Finally, it's Children's Day!
On Constitution Day, the students from grades 6-11 debated on important issues and put forward some positive arguments. The debate helped the students understand multiple opinions and shed light on important topics.
Our students concluded the day with our Preamble and made a promise to be the medium of change for the bright future of our country. Learning the importance of our nation's constitution, it's government and the different laws was enjoyed by many students.
This Children’s Day we surprised our marvelous young minds with the best of entertainment by the teachers. Our students were left buzzing with excitement and joy as we made beautiful memories together. The video shared by the respective class teachers comprised of funny, unique skits, dances and games, all performed by the teachers to enlighten the bright, cheerful smiles on their students' faces.
