Many people come for jobs to make money and create a new life!

In Maryland people made money by selling and growing rice and tobacco. Oil and candles were made too!

The farm land was very rich so everyone wanted plant!

In Massachusetts Bay they didn't have as much farm land as Maryland!

If you want to be marry come to Maryland! ( They have great farm land! )
