In this book, each student was assigned a two-page spread to display some assignments they are proud of or enjoyed completing throughout their educational journey this school year.
I encourage parents to sit with their child/ren and visit their page together. Ask your child questions about their favorite assignments or what they have learned this year.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
In the classroom we are using the Unique Learning System® as the classroom curriculum. The curriculum program has been designed specifically for children with special learning needs. While the foundation of Unique is the academic content standards (reading, writing, math, science and social studies), the lessons are modified to make sure that all children have a way to participate and learn. There is a strong emphasis on life skills that are embedded in each lesson. The primary goal of Unique Learning System is to give each child a way to participate, learn and succeed in the classroom.
Throughout this school year, using stories, videos, and interactive assignments, students have learned about the following topics:
