Would you like to know some interesting facts about World War Two? Do you know what WW2 stands for? WW2 stands for World War Two! After World War One came to a halt 21 years later, Adolf Hitler (the German leader at the time)wanted more territory for the Germans to live on so he unexpectedly invaded Poland,in the early hours of the first of September 1939 slowly but surely World War Two commenced...
How did it start?

World War Two started because of horrific Hitler invading Poland; he wanted more German territory . Hitler sent his Nazis German soldiers
across the French border and into the Polish land and tried to take the land for German citizens to live on. Germany was banned from having armed forces at the end of World War 1, until Hitler was voted Prime Minister. He proudly promised to make his country great again and quickly began to attempt to posses other countries land. France and Britain both declared war with Germany because Hitler refused to abort his operation to invade many other countries, then the war unfortunately started on the 3rd of September 1939.
What country were involved WW2?


There were many countries in World War Two.The alies of Britain were:
Australia,Belgium,Brazil,Canada, Lithuania,Malta,The Netherlands,
New Zealand , Norway, Poland, South Africa, Russia, USA. USSR,Yugoslavia and others.

The axis were:
Germany,Italy,Japan,Slovakia(November 1940) Hungary(November 1940),Romania (November1940) Bulgaria ( march1941)
Russia 🇷🇺

At the start of World War Two ,Russia and Germany were allies. However, on June twenty second 1941 Hitler ( the German leader) ordered a surprise attack on Russia. Russia became enemies of the axis powers and joined the allies.
Great Britain 🇬🇧

During World War Two Britain served as the retrievers in the Dunkirk evacuation when Churchill gave confidence to the people in Britain with boats big or small, to cross the English Channel to bring home soliders who were stranded on the beaches of Dunkirk. British citizens went out of there way to join the convoy of vessels on there way to France during the TRAGIC event!

Adolf Hitler:

Adolf Hitler was elected in 1933 as the leader of Germany , he told the people of Germany that he will make his country great again, to succeed his dream he attempted to invade many countries to gain more land. In 1945, his journey as the German leader ended by Adolf Hitler committing suicide on April 30th.

Neville Chamberlin

Neville Chamberlin was born on the 18th March 1869. His journey as the British Prime Minister commenced in 1939 and came to a end in 1940. He resigned after a disastrous campaign : Churchill was elected by British society to take his place. Neviles life ended on 9th of November 1940.


Winston Churchill

Churchill was born in Blenheim Palace, Woodstock on the 30th of November,1874:he was elected as the Prime Minister 66 years later,1940. He was best known for standing up to the Germans in World War 2 ,soon after becoming Prime Minster, Germany invaded France and Britain was alone in Europe fighting Hitler. His role of prime-minister ended in 1945 after he resigned. 10 years later on the 24th January 1965, he passed away at the age of 70.
