World War Two commenced in 1939 3rd September. The U.K. And France replied by declaring World War Two. British leader at the time, Neville Chamberlain was not very pleased with this so decided to help France and Poland defeat Germany by Neville Chamberlain declaring WW2. Hitler invaded Poland by sending his Nazi soldiers to attack! Britain was not alone in the war there were many more countries involved with 1.7 billion innocent people. Firstly Hitler sized power through a number of government loop holes which meant he could dictate Germany. In the beginning of the 2nd war in England Neville Chamberlain was prime minister, but then later on Winston Churchill became prime minister. Winston Churchill had a lot of famous speeches, his most famous one is called 'blood, toil, tears and sweat'. He also sent boats to Dunkirk to rescue the soldiers. He was 65 years of age when he took became England's prime minister. He died of a stroke at 90 years old - do you think we could of won the war without him?

He ran against someone called Paul Hon Hindenburg Hitler died by shooting himself in the head while he was in his underground in his underground bunker when he was 56 years old.He is also known for wanting to exterminate the Jewish people,in the Holocaust.
