Would you like to learn about the history of horrifying World War 2? World War Two started in 1939, surprisingly only 21 years after World War One. World War Two didn't end until 1945 meaning it was a scary six-years of battle. The soldiers in the war were so brave and heroic to fight for there countries and risk there lives. People in Germany voted for political leader in 1933 he declared " I will make Germany great again! " Thats when the horrible event happened. Loads of German soldiers ( 1.25 million of them ) had invaded several different countries and had killed 1.35 million people. World War Two commenced in 1939 3rd September. The U.K. And France replied by declaring World War Two. British leader at the time, Neville Chamberlain was not very pleased with this so decided to help France and Poland defeat Germany by Neville Chamberlain declaring WW2. Hitler invaded Poland by sending his Nazi soldiers to attack! Britain was not alone in the war there were many more countries involved with 1.7 billion innocent people. There were lots of countries in the World War Two: from all over the world. The countries in the Axis were:

Who were the leaders?

Winston Churchill

In the beginning not all leaders in the World War Two were elected democratically. Hitler was very Egotistic and big-headed. Firstly Hitler sized power through a number of government loop holes which meant he could dictate Germany. In the beginning of the 2nd war in England Neville Chamberlain was prime minister, but then later on Winston Churchill became prime minister. Winston Churchill had a lot of famous speeches, his most famous one is called 'blood, toil, tears and sweat'. He also sent boats to Dunkirk to rescue the soldiers. He was 65 years of age when he took became England's prime minister. He died of a stroke at 90 years old - do you think we could of won the war without him?

Adolf Hitler

Adolf Hitler was a very cruel man he killed several people (even his family and dog!) In addition, he became leader of Germany in 1933 at 44 years old. He ran against someone called Paul Hon Hindenburg Hitler died by shooting himself in the head while he was in his underground in his underground bunker when he was 56 years old.He is also known for wanting to exterminate the Jewish people,in the Holocaust.

There were lots of other leaders in the 2nd war to here are a few: Hirohito leader if Japan Charles de Gaulle leader of France and Franklin.d.Roosevelt one of the many leaders of America.

In conclusion, World War Two was a very scary event that changed many people's life's. Adolf Hitler was a very cruel man that attempted to conquer the world but did not succeed.
