Shockingly, World War 2 (1939-1945) took place only 21 years after World War 1 (which lasted from 1914-1918) which was said to be the bloodiest war until world war 2 commenced. Woefully, it is estimated that 70,000,000-85,000,000 people lost their life's during world war 2 and due to the commotion of the war it is unimaginably impossible to give a precise number due to the chaos of the War. The Invasion of Poland

Finally, when nazi Germany had the military might needed to invade close by country's they started to do so. Germany lost giant portions of land after World War I and it was always Hitler's plan to take the land back. Poland ,an ally of Great Britain, where a undemanding target for the nazis. Despite warnings from Great Britain, Hitler began the invasion of Poland (1939) and in doing so Great Britain to begin war on Germany.

Shockingly, not all War leaders in world war 2 were elected democratically. Slyly Hitler seized power through a number of government loop holes, which meant he could dictate Germany unposed. Further on in the text we'll explore two key war leaders of World War 2 : Adolf Hitler+Winston Churchill.

Winston Churchill

Many Historians say that Winston Churchill was one of the great war leaders of the time: he lead a country that was on the brink of defeat to victory. At the out break of war, Churchill was in fact not the prime Minister. Churchill took over from Chamberlain when he resisted in 1940. Soon after Churchill, who was the leader of Great Britain sought to inspire the country to keep fighting, even when the odds were against them. Eventually, Great Britain won the war and soon after Churchill's party (the Tories) were defeated in the general election by the Labour Party. Unsurprisingly, this did not stop Churchill from serving his country he continued to serve until his death on 24th January 1965.

Adolf Hitler

Few people say, that Adolf Hitler was a greater war leader than Winston Churchill he thought everyone accept Germans were useless. There were at least 42 known assassination plots against Hitler. He had a plot to kill Winston Churchill with a bomb planted in chocolate. While fighting in WWI. Adolf temporarily went blind from a mustard gas attack. Eventually, Germany lost the war and during the war he shot himself(with a service pistol!)
