Which countries were involved?
Adolf Hitler decided to invade Poland in 1939 because he wanted more land for Germany (very greedy of Hitler) to try and steal land from Poland. There were loads of Countries involved. For Example Great Britain, Germany, Poland, Bulgaria etc. The axis power: Japan, Germany and Italy.
There were two sides the Axis and the Allies.

Who were the leaders?
To begin with , not all leaders in World War Two were elected. We will explore two key leaders of world War 2: Adolf Hitler and Winston Churchill

Winston Churchill
Winston Churchill was one of the fantastic world wide leaders of the 20th century. Did you know that Winston Churchill died when he was 90 years old? He was the Prime-Minister of the Untied Kingdom and was trying to stand strong against Hitler and the Germans even though they were the last country fighting.

Adolf Hitler
In order for Germany to grow: Hitler thought the Country needed more land or "living space". He was the leader of the Nazi party and become a powerful dictator. He stole Australias land as part of Germany (evil) and then took part of Czechoslovakia.
