Learning Advance 2022

Since our challenge is improv, we did not have a whole ton of written work to prepare so we spent a lot of our time practicing different skits. We found some improv exercises that we liked and started to figure out how we can collaborate with eachother.

Hellllooooo all. Tis’ I, Brooke W. I have just returned from a 4 day trip up to Loon Lake Lodge with the PLP 8s and 9s and I am close to finishing this reflection book about the experience.

These photos are from one of our morning learning sessions when we were working on the 7 habits. I really enjoyed the part where we visualized our future because I love planning for my future and what my dream life would be. I made a list of steps to complete one of my future goals and it helped me to see how I can go about achieving what I want to do.

Our DI team cracked down on starting to create pre-set guides and roles for the improv presentation. This will help us be more prepared in the 2 minutes that we get to plan before we present.

One place I found amazingly beautiful so far at Loon Lake is the amphitheater because it has a great view of the lake.

This photo is from when we were all first at the amphitheater. I like this photo  because it captures the few of us in a fun way and a good memory.

I would probably hope to get more sleep on future feild studies. I think that I did a good job at being prepared and productive on this trip and I think that I will be able to do the same on the next learning advance.

Battle archery was definitely not my favourite activity because I found it quite confrontational and scary. But I eventually shot one arrow and for that I am proud that I gained courage.
