One day at school during gliding class Chip’s class was practicing how to glide.  Chip stood at the back of the line worried because he was scared but the class bully kicked him because he wanted everybody to laugh at him.  Chip fell to the ground and bumped his head and everyone laughed because he couldn’t glide.

One day at school during gliding class Chip’s class was practicing how to glide.  Chip stood at the back of the line worried because he was scared but the class bully kicked him because he wanted everybody to laugh at him.  Chip fell to the ground and bumped his head and everyone laughed because he couldn’t glide.

He was so embarrassed that he went home from school early.  Chip’s mom asked him what happened? He said the class bully kicked me off the board and embarrassed me and I hit my head. His mom said how about I help you with your gliding. All weekend long he practiced gliding with his mom so that he could get better and not have to get laughed at again but he was still worried.

In the middle of the night he made the glide-a-tron 3000, so that he wouldn’t fail.  It was made out of sewn strings that he taped to his sides so that he could glide easier.

On Monday, Chip wakes up and has to sneak his contraption past his mom at breakfast but it is hard.  He got to school feeling more confident because he thought he got the hang of it but little did he know he wouldn’t need the glide-a-tron 3000 at all.
