This publication is a compilation of poems created utilizing Magnetic Poetry kits at Passages Academy during April 2022.
Students were encouraged to compose poems that were meaningful to them, as well as simply enjoying the freedom of playing with language.

These poems were created during the second year of the pandemic. All of the writers were experiencing detention in Brooklyn and Queens as the time of composition.
I would like to thank our co-principals, Mr. Rashid and Mr. Carter, as well as Belmont's assistant principal, Ms. Stewart, for their support of this project.
