Meet Miss Dolehanty

Welcome to Kindergarten! I am so glad you are here.

We learn all about pumpkins and count their seeds! We do so many fun things in kindergarten.

I have two pet bunnies. Their names are Izzy and Lilly.

They like to play with bunny toys. They are the best of friends!

I went to college at Iowa State University. Go Cyclones! I decided that I wanted to be a teacher when I was in kindergarten. I went to college to learn how to be a teacher.

One of my favorite things to do is to make fun activities for us to do together in kindergarten. Let me show you some of my favorite activities that we do in kindergarten...

This is me with my sister Mary. She also graduated from PV High School! That is the high school that many of you will go to someday. Now Mary is at Iowa State!

I can't wait to get to know each other better. I'd like to tell you a little bit about me!

I am glad that you got to learn a little bit about me, and a little bit about our classroom.  I am so excited that you are here, and I can't wait to know more about you!

I love to take fun trips in the summer! One summer I traveled to Montana and went to the Glacier National Park. I had so much fun hiking mountains, white water rafting, and horseback riding.

Here are a few of my favorite things:

- I love animals and taking walks with Murphy.

- I love Coffeehound and Starbucks coffee.

- My favorite sweet treat is Nitrogen Ice Cream in the Bett Plex. - I love curling up with a good mystery book!

We learn about butterflies! We even care for caterpillars and watch them grow into butterflies.

I love celebrating holidays.  My favorite holiday is Christmas.  

I especially love decorating my home for the holidays!

Here's a family picture with my husband, Kevin, and our puppy Murphy!  We love to go on adventures together.  This last summer we got married in Bar Harbor, Maine!
