I was confused in the darkness, but then the sunlight came beaming through the the windows, familiar voices could be heard from the door

It was then I realised, that it had been a nightmare. It was then I realised, that in fact my maths homework was due today It was then I realised, I better get up, before I'm late for school.

There I stood, alone, the bell had rung an hour earlier and everyone has head home to either study or jump into some trackpants and watch some TV. I strolled down the empty hallway to collect my bag,

I closed my locker and the echo bounced off all the walls. As I walked toward the doors of freedom, I caught a reflection of something behind me. My heart thumped like a drum, 'Am I seeing things?' I thought to myself.

Now nervous and thinking the worst, was I about to get eaten by a giant monster? Was I going to be given more homework for maths? 

Either way I didn't want to find out, I increased my pace to match my heart rate, I gotta get out of here. I reach for the door handle but...
