The night was silent and all creatures were asleep, not a single one stirring. Friday lay sound asleep in her bed, dreaming about the ghost girl. In her dream Friday saw the same girl but in a white, frilly frock. She was happily dancing in the meadows when a tall man leapt up from the grass and slashed a knife across her neck. The girl howled in pain but before anyone heard her cries a sack was pulled over head. Minutes later they were in an old sewer wrenching of rotten corpse. The man opened a container holding dozens of rats. He placed them on her and she tried to wriggle free… but it was too late. The rats had chewed their way through her clothes and were munching into her skin. Blood streamed out and the girl drew her last breathe. The man cut out her eyes and ripped open her chest. Police found the man and instantly killed him before he could harm anymore people. Friday awoke, bolt up weeping from the bad dream. Quickly Friday grabbed her gown and rushed downstairs. Quietly she tip-toed down the hall to find the portrait of the man. She unhooked the frame and took the picture. “ Friday Edward BarnesVI killed for taking the life of Melanie Pelly” Friday whispered to herself. That’s why the ghost (Melanie) was trying to kill her. And SHE must have been the one in the house when they were moving in. “ Melanie must think i’m that Friday and I
