ENGLISH FESTIVALS Notting Hill Carnival is held in the streets of Notting Hill in west London over the last Summer bank holiday weekend. It’s Europe’s biggest street festival and it is completely free. Началото си води от&nbsp;келтския езически ритуал&nbsp;Сауин&nbsp; и е един ден преди честването на&nbsp;католическия&nbsp;ден на Вси светии. По традиция децата носят страшни костюми и &nbsp;тиквени фенери.&nbsp;Обикалят съседите си и искат бонбони или сладки с предупреждението, че ако не получат такива, ще им „изиграят номер“.

Празник на розата Всяка година първо се започва с короната на фестивала – конкурсното дефиле-спектакъл „Царица Роза”. Гостите могат да участват в ритуала „Розобер и Розоварене“. Кулминация на фестивала е празничният карнавал, който преминава през улиците на Казанлък. Участват над 5000 души, които изобразяват различни моменти от историята и многоликата култура на Розовата долина.

Humour Carnival Gabrovo, known as the town of humor, located around 165 kilometers east of Sofia is where the Humour Carnival takes place. The carnival is held every year in May, and it features various street plays, odd and funny traditions, parties and a parade. The&nbsp;locals dress up in funny and fancy costumes, and the carnival has a different theme every year. Because of this festival, Gabrovo was marked as one of the members of the Foundation of the European Carnival cities.

Zheravna Festival of National Costume Zheravna Festival of National Costume is one of its kind festival of Bulgaria, where everyone comes dressed in their national attire. Started in 2014, this celebration aims in reviving and honouring the culture and tradition of Bulgaria. 31ST&nbsp;OCTOBER – HALLOWEEN Halloween, also known as All Hallows’ Eve, or All Saints’ Eve, is a yearly celebration observed in a number of countries on 31st&nbsp;October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows’ Day. It initiates the triduum of Hallowtide, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed. Unlike in the USA, it is a relatively calm event.&nbsp;Children will dress up in costumes and go ‘trick or treating’ around the neighbourhood.&nbsp;Trick or Treating involves knocking on a neighbours door, and saying ‘Trick or Treat’.&nbsp;The neighbour then either plays a trick on the child, or gives them a treat (usually sweets).&nbsp;It is very rare for neighbours to play tricks on the children, so the children enjoy the festival because they go home with a bag of sweets!

Габровският карнавал на хумора&nbsp;се провежда всяка година около&nbsp;17 май.&nbsp;Наречен&nbsp;е Петото годишно време. В карнавалното шествие се включват хиляди участници от&nbsp;България&nbsp;и чужбина. На няколко места по трасето са разположени коментаторски пунктове, от където зрителите получават информация за преминаващите. Карнавалът завършва с традиционно отрязване на опашката на котка с огромна ножица от кмета на Габрово. Ежегодно се правят големи макети на актуални личности и герои.

Nestinari Dances/ Fire-Walking Nestinari dancing is based on an ancient cult. Dancers perform the ritual on live coals, barefoot. It is typical for the Bulgari village located in the mountain of Strandzha, and is practiced on the night of June 3.
