Sports
Growing up in North Vancouver and having an older brother meant I grew up playing tons of sports. I started baseball at the age of 5 and soccer at 6. I also went through a phase of gymnastics when I was 10. I was able to do all of this because of the land in deep cove. Myrtle park is the perfect place to play baseball and have a good time with your friends. Also since our weather conditions aren’t extreme here I can play soccer through the winters without having all my games cancelled. Sports are a huge part of how I see myself and sort of what I’m known for to other people.
My whole life I’ve loved having a spotlight on me and being the centre of attention. So naturally I took up theatre and stage acting. I did multiple years in a recreation class which led to me performing in front of thousands of people at a fundraiser. I was then one of the leads in my elementary schools musical in grade 7. I also got accepted into the deep cove pantomime this year and will be continuing to act there.

The Performance Learning Program
Another big part of my life is PLP. If you don’t know, it’s the program I’m in at school and it changes my whole way of learning. Even in just the one year I’ve grown so much as a learner and I understand critique and project based learning so much more. It also affects the social aspect of my life as school. I have the same people in basically every one of my classes, so I have formed a really close connection with all of them.
Family
Growing up, I always had the most supportive and loving family ever. Our family is always open with each other and we love spending time together. One of the things that makes me love my family so much is the sense of coziness. Being cozy is one of the best things in the world for me, so having a night with my family watching a movie by the fire all together is the perfect night.
