And now it's time for the 2020 version of the

For Kool Aid Tie Dye: *Pre-wash fabric. (100% cotton works best)&nbsp;No fabric softener or dryer sheets.&nbsp; *Before you dye, pre soak shirt in water and vinegar. *Cover work space. *“Tie” fabric with rubber bands. *In bowls or pots, mix at least two packets of Kool Aid with 1 cup of vinegar.&nbsp;This dye is a little weak, perhaps more packets will help. Stir until Kool Aid is dissolved completely.&nbsp;{You will need a separate bowl for each color} *Apply dye on fabric, making sure dye has penetrated into folds.&nbsp;Do not over saturate fabric.&nbsp;If dye is applied too close together, colors may become muddy. *Let the fabric air dry a little {we let ours air dry for 2 hours} *Place fabric in a plastic bag and allow to set for at least 6-8 hours (24 hours is better) *Rinse fabric until water is clear, remove rubber bands while rinsing. *Set the color by ironing the fabric on medium high. Make sure to use an old towel or ironing cloth between your iron and the fabric so you don’t stain your iron. *Wash in the washing machine or by hand with a small amount of laundry soap and hot water.&nbsp; *Wash and dry separately for the first few times.&nbsp;&nbsp;
