A long time ago, there was a tale of a magical island that was known to provide fortune for the neighboring islands of Gandora. However, many citizens failed to gain this fortune because, in order to gain it, they needed to give something valuable in return.
Many provided money, some provided expensive gifts such as jewelries and precious stones, others prayed to the island all day. Then there were the few others that did not know what they valued the most. But to avail, no one has ever gotten the fortune from this island.

One day, there was a kind family who had two beautiful children named Angela and Michael. Even though they were poor, they appreciated all things that were provided to them by the island they lived in. They were honest and sincere in whatever they did and to whoever they spoke to. By their actions, all the citizens on the island favored their presence.

ANGELA AND MICHAEL
were obedient children at times. However, they had flaws so they were not always honest and sincere towards the people around them. Angela has a habit of collecting pretty souvenirs around the island without sharing them with other children. She was a greedy girl.

Michael, on the other hand, was a fine-looking boy. And because of his fine looks, he tended to boast about his attractiveness to his friends and look down upon the other citizens.

Their parents always reminded them that they have to be sincere and kind to others, as that is a virtue to hold in life. However, the children found it difficult to comprehend and uphold the virtues.
