The Mystery Of The Stopped Clock 

“Hmmm.... how about going to another shop to see their clocks has stopped?” Abi suggested. “That’s a good idea” Jason appreciated. They ran to the shopping mall’s clock area and it wasn’t moving too! “There’s something wrong! We should go world clock’s controlling center,” Abi said. “I wonder in the airport the big problem has happened because they won’t know the time when the airplane must departure,” “Anyway,we don’t know the way to the world clock center,” Jason said. “This way,” Abi whispered calmly.

“WOW! This is room is huge!” Abi shouted. “Ok, do you have any people that you think they committed the crime?” Abi asked. “I think it’s veck because he is world’s clock association leader and he might have forgot to tell others when he stop it because he is very forgetful,” Justin stated. “Or it might be my classmate, Benny because she’s good at stopping something, she might practiced for our show,” Abi stated too. “I think this footprint are from the people who’s wearing Buzzy shoe company show es, and it seems it’s not kid shoe,” “How do you know it’s from that company Justin?” Abi asked. “Because I worked there before,” Justin answered. “So it can’t be Benny,”

She checked with her detective tablet that fingerprints. “It’s Kevin Zhong or Ken Becker. The detail says, Kevin Zhong is 34 years old and he works at buzzy shoe company. Ken Becker is 25 years old and he don’t have job yet,” “How come they both have same fingerprints?” Jason asked. “I think that real criminal changed his fingerprints using special tools,” Abi answered. “Wait look!!!!! There’s a letter on that button!” Jason cried. It said,

How awesome, you almost solve this mystery, but you can’t solve this hard mystery that I Gave for you!!

Three days later... Ken was arrested by the police. Police asked him why did he made the clock stop. Ken said, “I didn’t like my family cares about time and never talk with me,” Kevin explained. Everyone appreciated that Abi solved this hard mystery. “Don’t appreciate me, everybody helped me so I was able to solve it,” Abi said calmly. All the people lived happily ever after.

Abi and Jason walked and walked for 10km and they finally arrived to the building. Suddenly, they bumped someone. “Ouch!! Watch out dude!” Abi screamed. She looked up and saw the handsome man with green eyes and the T-shirt with the sea picture. His name tag said, Justin WCCC(World’s Clock Controlling Center)cleaner “Oh sorry for calling you dude,” “That’s ok, I’m cleaning this building all by myself,” “Wow that’s an hard work, did you found something wrong today?” “Yes,I found footprints in the secret controlling room,” he explained. “Can I ask you a detail tomorrow because it’s already dark today,” “Sure, he replied.

“I think it’s time for afternoon snack!” The girl with bluish green T-shirt shouted very excitedly. Abi exclaimed, ”It’s ice cream day and you can eat as many as you want!” She checked her clock and it was 2:46. “That’s strange, I just checked it five minutes ago and it was 2:45!” She thought her clock has no more battery and rushed to Jason’s clock, the famous clock shop in 22nd century.

“I think we could search for fingerprints,” Jason suggested. Soon after, she called the police with her special watch and called a police to get a special kit to search for fingerprints. Five minutes later... Police arrived with the fingerprint kit. She first checked the monitor to turn it on. Nothing appeared. Second, she checked the door. No fingerprints. Third, she checked the main switch to turn it on and off. “Oh there is!!”

Next morning, they met Justin in front of the golden building. “My neck hearts because I had to sleep in that very narrow sofa last night!” Abi complained. “Anyway,can you take us to that secret controlling room?” Jason asked. “Sure, but you have to take fingerprint check first because you are visitor,” Justin told. “Ok,” Jason and Abi replied. When they were done with fingerprint check, all of the three went inside the controlling room.

“Hi Jason!” Abi greeted. “Nice to meet you Abi!” Jason replied. Jason was wearing dark green shirt and white pants and full of wrinkles. “It seems my clock is broken, can you fix it?” “Easy-peasy, let me see. . . What the heck! My clock is broken too!” Jason screamed. Abi’s clear purple eyes stared at each clocks. Soon after,outside was totally black and the night came. “Noooo!! I forgot that my lights are broken!” “That’s ok” suddenly, Abi turned on her lightning shoes and the shop was really bright.

“I will,” Abi was sure that she can do it. “It said it’s Kevin so let’s go to his house!” Kevin’s house wasn’t as far as they thought. Door bell rang. “Hi guys! Do you want to play chess with me?” Kevin asked. “No thanks, I just wanted to check if you actually wrote this signature, so can you write your signature here?” Abi asked. Then, he wrote his signature on memo paper. “There you go,” “Thanks Kevin,” The signature was like this,

It was different from the letter. Abi checked with Kevin if he didn’t committed this crime.

                               The mystery of the stopped clock

Abi and Jason went to the hotel near the building. They sat down on the lobby sofa for a minute. The man who work in the hotel asked them that they can’t stay this night because they don’t know the time when the customers will come. That night, Jason had a little thought if he can look the time on the phone. He took his iPhone but it said can’t connect. He thought the phone is also connected to controlling center so that’s why he can’t see on his phone too.
