FRUIT DAY

A fruit exhibition was organized where students after attending presentations by their classmates about fruit and its nutritional value, they voted for what they preferred

A fruit memory game was created and was an interesting game during the breaks.

Turkish students picked their own fruits from the trees in their gardens.

The children of the special unit of the school also had some workshops about fruit with great results!

Three e-books were created, using the digital tool “storyjumper” by Class E students.

Α fruit tasting competition was organized by the students of Class E.

Students of Class 6 created small fruit-books with information about these fruit inside.

A lexicon about fruits was created by students of Class 6, in our partners’ languages and also in English.

An e-hidden words game was created by Class E students with the use of the digital tool “learningapps”.

In order to celebrate “Fruit Day”, 5th graders from class B carried out research on some fruits and learned about their origin, composition, medicinal properties and other benefits of eating them. Simultaneously, the students draw those fruits using coloured pencil techniques.

Children of grade 1 and 2 and 3 created their own art work with fruit, too, using various methods!&nbsp;

Children of grade 6 created wonderful pieces of art using a variety of real fruit. 

Some of them also made crafts related to their favourite fruit using reusable materials.

Fruit activity Cyprus

On the Fruit day the Dimotiko Scheleio Tseriou 1,Cyprus school studied the importance and the benefits of eating fruit.&nbsp;The children of grade 5 prepared and enjoyed their own healthy fruit snacks.

Pupils of Class B made and tasted strawberry ice sorbet.

Students of Class E created fruit out of plastic caps.

Pupils of Class A painted fruit and recited poems accompanied by them.

The 6th graders even wrote beautiful poems and collected proverbs and riddles about eating fruit.
