Let me tell you about how blizzards are formed. When the cold stream and the warm stream condense. It creates a blizzard. But the cold and warm air has to be the right temperature, or there will be no Blizzard. If the temperature is not right there might be a little snow but not a blizzard.

Blizzards can happen all around the world. There is a place called Blizzard Alley. Cold places like North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michiganian, Indianan and Ohio. These are the states in Blizzard Alley.

Fun Facts
I will be telling you some fun facts about blizzards. In Tamarack California 390 inches (9.9m) fell in January 1911. The snowiest city in the U.S.A is Syracuse, NYC. It averages 110 inches per month December though March. The 1993 Blizzard in called The Storm Of The Century. It affected half of the U.S.A snowdrifts were 30-40 feet high!
