Jackie Joyner-Kersee was Born on March 3 1962 she grew up in East st Louis Illinois. Her parents Alfred and Mary Joyner were barely in their teens when they got married , Mary was only 14 when her first child was born.

Jackie Joyner-Kersee was named the greatest athlete of the 20th century by sports illustrated, for-time Olympian Jackie was the first women to win back to back Olympic gold medal in the heptathlon.

She went to the University of California Los Angels and Lincoln middle school Those schools were good for her. She went to UCLA with a full scholarship. something she studied was sports like basketball.
