"CHIRP, CHIRP, CHIRP," cried the blue bird loudly.
Then the bird flew away.
From the branch a tiny acorn fell
and lay resting on the ground.
Little Bryson B. picked up the acorn and yelled,
"HEY! Look what I have found!"

Down the street the acorn rolled
and Mr. Miller swept it into his truck.
The acorn landed on the beach
where it was picked up by a duck.
The duck carried it down the beach
and dropped in near the dock.
It flew inside the boat
as the sailor united it from a rock.
The sea was rough and the waves were big.
The acorn was tossed into the sky.
