TEACHING METHOD - MENTOR BASED LEARNING
A mentor's role is to guide students toward independent learning in a joint effort to help students reach their personal goals. The mentors in the project Stayin' Alive - First Aid for Everyone are going to lead students through the protocols of the first aid, provide students with orientation materials, establish guidelines for working, and assess students work. Mentors in this project are:
Carmen María Suárez Algar, CIPFP Ciudad del Aprendiz, Spain - I work as a VET health teacher. I train students in health matters to carry out urgent health interventions. In addition to being a professor of the modules of health emergencies, I am a nurse and I have worked in health emergencies.
Josipa Bajan, School of Midwifery, Croatia - I work as health teacher. Before my school engagement I was a nurse in a hospital. In our school I am teaching students gynecological care, general care and first aid. I am looking forward at this project because all topics are conected with the curriculuim topics I am teaching this year.
